Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.

Every place you walk on will belong to you. Your territory will go all the way from the desert to Lebanon. It will go from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.

This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying,“ This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half- tribe;for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half- tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.The two tribes and the half- tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”

He ruled over all the kings from the River even to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

In that day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ I have given this land to your offspring, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

For he had dominion over all on this side the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on this side the River: and he had peace on all sides around him.
