智慧可增添你的年日，加添你的壽數。

我要永遠用慈愛待他，我與他立的約永不更改。我要使他的後裔永無窮盡，讓他的王位與天同存。

這樣，你們就會得享長壽，你們及子孫就會終生敬畏你們的上帝耶和華，遵守祂藉我吩咐你們的一切律例和誡命。

「『要遵照你的上帝耶和華的吩咐孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和華要賜給你的土地上享長壽，蒙祝福。

在第一次復活的時候復活的人是有福的，是聖潔的，他們不在第二次死亡的權勢之下。他們必作上帝和基督的祭司，與祂共掌王權一千年。

智慧的右手有長壽，左手有富貴和尊榮。

再沒有只活幾天便夭折的嬰兒，也沒有壽數未盡便死的老人，因為滿了百歲便死的人不過算是青年，不足百歲便死的人被視為受了咒詛。
