Then the Lord will send rain on your land at the right time. He’ll send rain in the fall and in the spring. You will be able to gather your grain. You will also be able to make olive oil and fresh wine.

Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.

I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.

He gives rain on the earth, And sends waters on the fields.He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety.

Are there any among the idols of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are You not He, O Lord our God? Therefore we will wait for You, Since You have made all these.

Also with moisture He saturates the thick clouds; He scatters His bright clouds.And they swirl about, being turned by His guidance, That they may do whatever He commands them On the face of the whole earth.He causes it to come, Whether for correction, Or for His land, Or for mercy.

You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth.You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, And the little hills rejoice on every side.The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.
