但你們所要過去取得為業的地乃是有山有谷之地、它吸收水的灌溉是按着天上之雨水而定的。

惟爾所往而得之地不然、乃有陵谷、自受天雨、

爾所往欲得之地、乃有山崗平原、得天雨浸灌之地、

But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.

But you will soon go across the Jordan River. The land you are going to take over has mountains and valleys in it. It drinks rain from heaven.

But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven,

Rather, the land you will soon take over is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain—

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.

But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,

but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,

For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig- trees and pomegranates; a land of olive- trees and honey;a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig copper.
