爾當愛爾之上帝耶和華、供其役事、行其禮儀、守其法度、遵其禁令、歷久不輟。

爾當敬愛主爾之天主、恆守所諭爾當守者、遵其律例法度誡命、

Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

Love the Lord your God. Do what he requires. Always obey his rules, laws and commands.

你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華－你的上帝。

「以色列啊，現在耶和華－你的上帝向你要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華－你的上帝，遵行他一切的道，愛他，盡心盡性事奉耶和華－你的上帝，

這七天，你們要晝夜留在會幕門內，遵守耶和華所吩咐的，免得你們死亡，因為所吩咐我的就是這樣。」

叫我們既從仇敵手中被救出來，就可以終身在他面前，無所懼怕地用聖潔和公義事奉他。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：「你若遵行我的道，謹守我的命令，就可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇；我也要使你在這些侍立的人中間來往。

「現在，以色列啊，聽我所教導你們的律例典章，要遵行，好使你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之上帝所賜給你們的地，承受為業。

看，我照着耶和華－我的上帝所吩咐我的，將律例和典章教導你們，使你們在所要進去得為業的地上遵行。

我今日所吩咐你的，就是要愛耶和華－你的上帝，遵行他的道，謹守他的誡命、律例、典章，使你可以存活，增多，而且耶和華－你的上帝必在你所要進去得為業的地上賜福給你。倘若你的心偏離，不肯聽從，卻被引誘去敬拜別神，事奉它們，我今日向你們申明，你們必定滅亡；在你過約旦河進去得為業的地上，你的日子必不長久。我今日呼天喚地向你作見證：我已經將生與死，祝福與詛咒，擺在你面前。所以你要揀選生命，好使你和你的後裔都得存活。要愛耶和華－你的上帝，聽從他的話，緊緊跟隨他，因為他是你的生命，必使你的日子得以長久，可以在耶和華向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓要給他們的地上居住。」

我愛耶和華，因為他聽了我的聲音和我的懇求。

「這是耶和華－你們的上帝所吩咐要教導你們的誡命、律例、典章，叫你們在所要過去得為業的地上遵行，

我今日吩咐你的律例誡命，你要遵守，使你和你的後裔可以得福，並使你的日子一直在耶和華－你上帝賜你的地上得以長久。」

好讓他們遵他的律例，守他的律法。哈利路亞！
