That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the Lord is their inheritance, as the Lord your God told them.)

祭司得此祭品以為業、我即其業、在以色列族中、勿以地予祭司為恆產、我即其恆產、

為祭司之利未人、及利未全支派、在以色列人中不得地為業、可食獻於主之祭物、以為其業、彼在其兄弟兄弟即以色列人不得地為業、必恃主為業、循主所許之之言、

蓋摩西曾在約但東、分地予二支派及一支派之半、其間惟不以地予利未人為業、

被數之利未人、共二萬三千、被數者悉自一月以上之男、利未人因不與以色列人得地為業、故不與以色列人同見數、○

主諭亞倫曰、爾在以色列人中、必不得地為業、其間無所應得之分、爾在以色列人中所得之分所有之業即我也、或作爾在以色列人中所得之分即在我所我為爾之業利未人既在會幕供役事、我於以色列人之土產、什取其一賜彼為業、自今後以色列人、毋再近會幕、恐負罪至於死亡、會幕之役事、即為利未人所供、若有干犯、必自負罪、彼在以色列人中、必不得地為業、此為歷世永定之例、以色列人什輸其一、舉而獻於我之物、我既賜利未人為業、故云、彼在以色列人中不得地為業、○
