The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

The Lord wrote on the tablets what he had written before. It was the Ten Commandments. He had announced them to you out of the fire on the mountain. It was on the day you had gathered together there. So the Lord gave the tablets to me.

And he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

Once again the Lord wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets and gave them to me. They were the same words the Lord had spoken to you from the heart of the fire on the day you were assembled at the foot of the mountain.

Then on the day of the assembly, the LORD wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that he had spoken to you on the mountain from the fire. The LORD gave them to me,

Then He wrote on the tablets, like the first writing, the Ten Commandments which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me.

And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.

The LORD then wrote on the tablets the same words, the ten commandments, which he had spoken to you at the mountain from the middle of the fire at the time of that assembly, and he gave them to me.

He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

耶和华把那两块石版交给了我，是神用手指写的；石版上所写的，是耶和华在大会之日，在山上从火中对你们所说的一切话。

摩西在那里与耶和华在一起共四十昼夜，不吃饭，也不喝水。他把这约的话写在两块版上，这就是十诫。

这正是你在何烈山开大会的日子，求耶和华你的神的一切话，说：‘不要让我再听见耶和华我的神的声音了；也不要让我再看见这大火了，免得我死亡。’

你们不是来到那座摸得着的山。那里有烈火、密云、幽暗、暴风、号筒的响声和说话的声音；那些听见这声音的人，都请求神不要再向他们多说话；

耶和华在山上，从火中，面对面的与你们说话。那时，我站在耶和华和你们中间，要把耶和华的话告诉你们；你们因为惧怕那火，所以没有上到山上来，耶和华说：“‘我是耶和华你的神，曾经把你从埃及地，从为奴之家领出来。“‘除我以外，你不可有别的神。“‘你不可为自己做偶像，也不可做天上、地下和地底下水中各物的形象。不可跪拜它们，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华你们的神是忌邪的神；恨恶我的，我必追讨他们的罪，从父亲到儿子，直到三四代。爱我和遵守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。“‘不可妄称耶和华你神的名，因为妄称耶和华的名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。“‘要遵守安息日为圣日，照着耶和华你神吩咐你的。六日要劳碌，作你一切工作。但第七日是属于耶和华你神的安息日；这一日，你和你的儿女、仆婢、牛驴和一切牲畜，以及你城里的寄居者，不可作任何的工，好使你的仆婢可以和你一样享受安息。你要记住：你在埃及地作过奴仆；耶和华你的神用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，把你从那里领出来，因此耶和华你的神吩咐你要守安息日。“‘要孝敬父母，照着耶和华你的神吩咐你的，使你可以得享长寿，也使你在耶和华你的神赐给你的地上，得享福乐。“‘不可杀人。“‘不可奸淫。“‘不可偷盗。“‘不可作假证供陷害你的邻舍。“‘不可贪爱你邻舍的妻子；不可贪图你邻舍的房屋、田地、仆婢、牛驴和你邻舍的任何东西。’“这些话就是耶和华在山上，从火中、密云中、幽暗里，大声对你们全体会众所说的，并没有加添什么；他把这些话写在两块石版上，交给了我。那时山上被火烧着，你们听见有声音从黑暗中发出来的时候，你们各支派的首领和你们的长老，都走到我这里来，说：‘看哪，耶和华我们的神把他的荣耀和伟大显给我们看，我们又听见他从火中发出来的声音；今日我们看见了神与人说话，而人还能活着。现在这大火快要吞灭我们了，我们为什么要冒死呢？如果我们再听见耶和华我们神的声音，我们就必死亡。因为有血肉生命的人，有谁像我们一样，听见永活的神从火中说话的声音，还能活着呢？

那时，你们走前来，站在山下；山上有火烧着，火焰冲天，又有黑暗、密云和幽暗。耶和华从火中对你们说话；你们只听见声音，却没有看见形象；只有声音，把他的约，就是他吩咐你们遵守的那十条诫命（“十条诫命”直译是“十句话”），向你们宣布出来；又把它们写在两块石版上。那时，耶和华也吩咐我把律例和典章教训你们，使你们在将要过去得为业的地上遵行。“所以你们要特别小心，谨慎自己，因为耶和华在何烈山从火中对你们说话的那一天，你们没有看见什么形象；

神吩咐以下这一切话，说：“我是耶和华你的神，曾经把你从埃及地，从为奴之家领出来。“除我以外，你不可有别的神。“不可为自己做偶像，也不可做天上、地下和地底下水中各物的形象。不可跪拜它们，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华你们的神是忌邪的神；恨恶我的，我必追讨他们的罪，从父亲到儿子，直到三四代。爱我和遵守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。“不可妄称耶和华你神的名，因为妄称耶和华的名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。“要记念安息日，守为圣日。六日要劳碌，作你一切工作。但第七日是耶和华你的神的安息日；这一日，你和你的儿女，你的仆婢和牲畜，以及住在你城里的寄居者，不可作任何的工。因为耶和华在六日之内造天、地、海和其中的万物，第七日就歇息了；所以耶和华赐福安息日，定为圣日。“要孝敬父母，使你在耶和华你的神赐给你的地上得享长寿。“不可杀人。“不可奸淫。“不可偷盗。“不可作假证供陷害你的邻舍。“不可贪爱你邻舍的房屋；不可贪爱你邻舍的妻子、仆婢、牛驴和他的任何东西。”

摩西率领人民出营去迎接神，他们都站在山下。西奈全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降临到山上；山的烟向上升，好像火窑的烟一样。全山猛烈震动。
