你要把我賜給你的法版放在櫃裡。你要用純金做施恩座，長一百一十公分，寬六十六公分。你要用黃金錘成兩個基路伯，放在施恩座的兩端。這端做個基路伯，那端做個基路伯，二基路伯要與施恩座連在一起製造，在施恩座的兩端。二基路伯要在上面展開雙翼，遮掩施恩座，基路伯的臉要彼此相對，他們的臉要朝著施恩座。你要把施恩座安放在櫃頂，又要把我賜給你的法版放在櫃裡。我要在那裡和你相會，也要從施恩座上面，從二基路伯之間，告訴你一切我命令你傳給以色列人的事。

約櫃裡面只有兩塊石版，這兩塊石版在以色列人出埃及地以後，耶和華與他們立約的時候，摩西在何烈山放在那裡的。

於是我轉身從山上下來，把石版放在我所做的櫃中，照著耶和華吩咐我的，現在石版還放在那裡。

裡面有金香壇，有全部包金的約櫃，櫃裡有盛著嗎哪的金罐、亞倫那發過芽的杖和兩塊約板。

摩西拿了法版，放在櫃裡，把槓穿在櫃的兩旁，把施恩座安放在約櫃上面。

把他的約，就是他吩咐你們遵守的那十條誡命（“十條誡命”直譯是“十句話”），向你們宣布出來；又把它們寫在兩塊石版上。
