And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also,[ and] the LORD would not destroy thee.

“我又像从前在山上住了四十昼夜。那次耶和华也应允我，不忍将你灭绝。

“我又像先前一样在山上停留了四十昼夜。这一次耶和华也应允我，不将你灭绝。

“我又像先前一样在山上停留了四十昼夜。这一次耶和华也应允我，不将你灭绝。

“和前一次一样，我又在山上待了四十昼夜，耶和华又听了我的祈求，答应不毁灭你们。

“我又像以前那样，在山上停留了四十昼夜；那一次耶和华也听了我的呼求，他不愿把你毁灭。

我居於山、四十晝夜如昔、此次耶和華又復垂聽、不殲滅爾、

我居於山、四旬晝夜、與昔無異、耶和華復允我祈、不加殲滅於爾。

我又如昔居於山四十晝夜、斯時主又俯聽我、不忍滅爾、

Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the Lord listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.

I had stayed on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights, just as I did the first time. The Lord listened to me that time also. He didn’t want to destroy you.

“ I myself stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights, and the Lord listened to me that time also. The Lord was unwilling to destroy you.

“ As for me, I stayed on the mountain in the Lord’s presence for forty days and nights, as I had done the first time. And once again the Lord listened to my pleas and agreed not to destroy you.

“ I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights like the first time. The LORD also listened to me on this occasion; he agreed not to annihilate you.

“ I, moreover, stayed on the mountain for forty days and forty nights like the first time, and the Lord listened to me that time also; the Lord was not willing to destroy you.

“ As at the first time, I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights; the Lord also heard me at that time, and the Lord chose not to destroy you.

And I stayed in the mount, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights: and Jehovah hearkened unto me that time also; Jehovah would not destroy thee.

“ I stayed on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights like the first time. The Lord also listened to me on this occasion; He agreed not to annihilate you.

As for me, I stayed at the mountain as I did the first time, forty days and nights. The LORD listened to me that time as well and decided not to destroy you.

I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Yahweh listened to me that time also. Yahweh would not destroy you.

Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down[ at the first]; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.

And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.Therefore now go, lead the people unto[ the place] of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.

And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God[ is there] in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that[ is] beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold[ it] with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
