“ I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights like the first time. The LORD also listened to me on this occasion; he agreed not to annihilate you.

“我又像从前在山上住了四十昼夜。那次耶和华也应允我，不忍将你灭绝。

“我又像先前一样在山上停留了四十昼夜。这一次耶和华也应允我，不将你灭绝。

“我又像先前一样在山上停留了四十昼夜。这一次耶和华也应允我，不将你灭绝。

“和前一次一样，我又在山上待了四十昼夜，耶和华又听了我的祈求，答应不毁灭你们。

“我又像以前那样，在山上停留了四十昼夜；那一次耶和华也听了我的呼求，他不愿把你毁灭。

『我又像先前那樣在山上住了四十晝又四十夜；那一次永恆主也聽了我；他不情願將你毁滅。

我居於山、四十晝夜如昔、此次耶和華又復垂聽、不殲滅爾、

我居於山、四旬晝夜、與昔無異、耶和華復允我祈、不加殲滅於爾。

我又如昔居於山四十晝夜、斯時主又俯聽我、不忍滅爾、

Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the Lord listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.

I had stayed on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights, just as I did the first time. The Lord listened to me that time also. He didn’t want to destroy you.

“ I myself stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights, and the Lord listened to me that time also. The Lord was unwilling to destroy you.

“ As for me, I stayed on the mountain in the Lord’s presence for forty days and nights, as I had done the first time. And once again the Lord listened to my pleas and agreed not to destroy you.

“ I, moreover, stayed on the mountain for forty days and forty nights like the first time, and the Lord listened to me that time also; the Lord was not willing to destroy you.

“ As at the first time, I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights; the Lord also heard me at that time, and the Lord chose not to destroy you.

And I stayed in the mount, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights: and Jehovah hearkened unto me that time also; Jehovah would not destroy thee.

“ I stayed on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights like the first time. The Lord also listened to me on this occasion; He agreed not to annihilate you.

And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also,[ and] the LORD would not destroy thee.

As for me, I stayed at the mountain as I did the first time, forty days and nights. The LORD listened to me that time as well and decided not to destroy you.

I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Yahweh listened to me that time also. Yahweh would not destroy you.

“ I fell down in the presence of the LORD forty days and forty nights because the LORD had threatened to destroy you.

Moses was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did not eat food or drink water. He wrote the Ten Commandments, the words of the covenant, on the tablets.

I fell down like the first time in the presence of the LORD for forty days and forty nights; I did not eat food or drink water because of all the sin you committed, doing what was evil in the LORD’s sight and angering him.I was afraid of the fierce anger the LORD had directed against you, because he was about to destroy you. But again the LORD listened to me on that occasion.

The LORD answered Moses,“ I will do this very thing you have asked, for you have found favor with me, and I know you by name.”

“ He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.

Moses entered the cloud as he went up the mountain, and he remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

So the LORD relented concerning the disaster he had said he would bring on his people.

The LORD replied to Moses,“ Whoever has sinned against me I will erase from my book.Now go, lead the people to the place I told you about; see, my angel will go before you. But on the day I settle accounts, I will hold them accountable for their sin.”

“ At that time I begged the LORD:Lord GOD, you have begun to show your greatness and your strong hand to your servant, for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can perform deeds and mighty acts like yours?Please let me cross over and see the beautiful land on the other side of the Jordan, that good hill country and Lebanon.“ But the LORD was angry with me because of you and would not listen to me. The LORD said to me,‘ That’s enough! Do not speak to me again about this matter.Go to the top of Pisgah and look to the west, north, south, and east, and see it with your own eyes, for you will not cross the Jordan.
