The Lord our God spoke to us at Mount Horeb. He said,“ You have stayed long enough at this mountain.

“耶和华我们的神在何烈山晓谕我们说：你们在这山上住的日子够了；

“耶和华—我们的上帝在何烈山吩咐我们说：你们住在这山上已经够久了。

『永恆主我們的上帝在何烈山告訴我們說：「你們在這山住的日子夠了；

昔在何烈、我上帝耶和華諭我儕云、爾居此山已久、

曰、昔在何烈山、我之上帝耶和華諭我云、爾久居此山、

昔在何烈、主我之天主諭我云、爾居此山、為日已久、

The Lord our God said to us at Horeb,“ You have stayed long enough at this mountain.

“ The Lord our God said to us in Horeb,‘ You have stayed long enough at this mountain.

“ When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us,‘ You have stayed at this mountain long enough.

“ The LORD our God spoke to us at Horeb:‘ You have stayed at this mountain long enough.

“ The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying,‘ You have stayed long enough at this mountain.

“ The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying:‘ You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.

Jehovah our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mountain:

The LORD our God spoke to us at Horeb and said,“ You have stayed in the area of this mountain long enough.

“ Yahweh our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying,‘ You have lived long enough at this mountain.

Moses was taking care of the flock of his father- in- law Jethro. Jethro was the priest of Midian. Moses led the flock to the western side of the desert. He came to Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

It was the 20th day of the second month of the second year. On that day the cloud began to move. It went up from above the holy tent where the tablets of the covenant law were kept.Then the Israelites started out from the Desert of Sinai. They traveled from place to place. They kept going until the cloud came to rest in the Desert of Paran.The first time they started out, the Lord commanded Moses to tell them to do it. And they did it.

I will stand there in front of you by the rock at Mount Horeb. Hit the rock. Then water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses hit the rock while the elders of Israel watched.

The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Mount Horeb.

Exactly three months after the people of Israel left Egypt, they came to the Desert of Sinai.After they started out from Rephidim, they entered the Desert of Sinai. They camped there in the desert in front of the mountain.
