Yahweh said to me,“ Tell them,‘ Don’t go up and don’t fight; for I am not among you, lest you be struck before your enemies.’”

耶和华吩咐我说：‘你对他们说：不要上去，也不要争战；因我不在你们中间，恐怕你们被仇敌杀败了。’

耶和华对我说：‘你对他们说：不要上去，也不要争战，因我不在你们中间，恐怕你们在仇敌面前被击败。’

耶和华对我说：‘你对他们说：不要上去，也不要争战，因我不在你们中间，恐怕你们在仇敌面前被击败。’

但耶和华让我告诉你们，‘不要上去作战，以免被敌人击败，因为耶和华不会与你们同在。’

耶和华对我说：‘你要对他们说：“你们不要上去，也不要作战，因为我不在你们中间，免得你们在仇敌面前被击败。”’

耶和華吩咐我說：『你對他們說：不要上去，也不要爭戰；因我不在你們中間，恐怕你們被仇敵殺敗了。』

耶和華對我說：『你對他們說：不要上去，也不要爭戰，因我不在你們中間，恐怕你們在仇敵面前被擊敗。』

但耶和華讓我告訴你們，『不要上去作戰，以免被敵人擊敗，因為耶和華不會與你們同在。』

耶和華對我說：‘你要對他們說：“你們不要上去，也不要作戰，因為我不在你們中間，免得你們在仇敵面前被擊敗。”’

但是永恆主對我說：「你對他們說：不要上去、也不要打仗，因為我不在你們中間，免得你們在仇敵面前被擊敗。」

耶和華命我告民曰、毋往、毋戰、恐敗於敵、蓋我不在爾中、

耶和華命我、普告於眾、曰、耶和華不佑爾、勿往以戰、恐敗於敵、

主命我曰、當告民曰、毋往毋戰、我耶和華不在爾中、恐敗於敵、

But the Lord said to me,“ Tell them,‘ Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you. You will be defeated by your enemies.’”

But the Lord spoke to me. He said,“ Tell them,‘ Do not go up and fight. I will not be with you. Your enemies will win the battle over you.’ ”

And the Lord said to me,‘ Say to them, Do not go up or fight, for I am not in your midst, lest you be defeated before your enemies.’

“ But the Lord told me to tell you,‘ Do not attack, for I am not with you. If you go ahead on your own, you will be crushed by your enemies.’

“ But the LORD said to me,‘ Tell them: Don’t go up and fight, for I am not with you to keep you from being defeated by your enemies.’

But the Lord said to me,‘ Say to them,“ Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among you; otherwise you will be defeated by your enemies.” ’

“ And the Lord said to me,‘ Tell them,“ Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among you; lest you be defeated before your enemies.”’

And Jehovah said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.

“ But the Lord said to me,‘ Tell them: Don’t go up and fight, for I am not with you to keep you from being defeated by your enemies.’

And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I[ am] not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.

But the LORD told me:“ Tell them this:‘ Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you and you will be defeated by your enemies.’”

The Philistines fought, and Israel was defeated, and each man fled to his tent. There was a very great slaughter; for thirty thousand footmen of Israel fell.

Moses said,“ Why now do you disobey the commandment of Yahweh, since it shall not prosper?Don’t go up, for Yahweh isn’t among you; that way you won’t be struck down before your enemies.For there the Amalekite and the Canaanite are before you, and you will fall by the sword because you turned back from following Yahweh; therefore Yahweh will not be with you.”

Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man shall be left. Indeed, woe also to them when I depart from them!

Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear.But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

The Philistines put themselves in array against Israel. When they joined battle, Israel was defeated by the Philistines, who killed about four thousand men of the army in the field.

Oh, Lord, what shall I say, after Israel has turned their backs before their enemies?For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. What will you do for your great name?”Yahweh said to Joshua,“ Get up! Why have you fallen on your face like that?Israel has sinned. Yes, they have even transgressed my covenant which I commanded them. Yes, they have even taken some of the devoted things, and have also stolen, and also deceived. They have even put it among their own stuff.Therefore the children of Israel can’t stand before their enemies. They turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become devoted for destruction. I will not be with you any more, unless you destroy the devoted things from among you.Get up! Sanctify the people, and say,‘ Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, for Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,“ There is a devoted thing among you, Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted thing from among you.”

One thousand will flee at the threat of one. At the threat of five, you will flee until you are left like a beacon on the top of a mountain, and like a banner on a hill.

I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you; and you will flee when no one pursues you.
