『那時你們回答我說：「我們犯罪得罪了永恆主了；如今我們要照永恆主我們的上帝一切所吩咐的上去打仗。」於是你們各人裝束着戰器，輕舉妄動上山地去了。

“那时，你们回答我说：‘我们得罪了耶和华，情愿照耶和华我们神一切所吩咐的上去争战。’于是你们各人带着兵器，争先上山地去了。

“你们回答我说：‘我们得罪了耶和华！现在我们愿遵照耶和华—我们上帝一切所吩咐的上去争战。’于是你们各人带着兵器，以为很容易就能上到山区去。

“你们回答我说：‘我们得罪了耶和华！现在我们愿遵照耶和华—我们神一切所吩咐的上去争战。’于是你们各人带着兵器，以为很容易就能上到山区去。

“于是，你们对我说，‘我们得罪了耶和华，现在我们愿意遵从我们的上帝耶和华的吩咐，上去作战。’你们便各自拿起兵器，以为可以轻易攻占山区。

“那时你们回答我，说：‘我们得罪了耶和华；现在我们愿意照着耶和华我们神的一切吩咐，上去作战。’于是你们都预备了兵器，轻率地上山去了。

「那時，你們回答我說：『我們得罪了耶和華，情願照耶和華－我們神一切所吩咐的上去爭戰。』於是你們各人帶着兵器，爭先上山地去了。

「你們回答我說：『我們得罪了耶和華！現在我們願遵照耶和華－我們上帝一切所吩咐的上去爭戰。』於是你們各人帶着兵器，以為很容易就能上到山區去。

「你們回答我說：『我們得罪了耶和華！現在我們願遵照耶和華－我們神一切所吩咐的上去爭戰。』於是你們各人帶着兵器，以為很容易就能上到山區去。

「於是，你們對我說，『我們得罪了耶和華，現在我們願意遵從我們的上帝耶和華的吩咐，上去作戰。』你們便各自拿起兵器，以為可以輕易攻佔山區。

“那時你們回答我，說：‘我們得罪了耶和華；現在我們願意照著耶和華我們神的一切吩咐，上去作戰。’於是你們都預備了兵器，輕率地上山去了。

爾曹對曰、我獲罪於耶和華、願遵我上帝耶和華命、前往以戰、於是各佩軍器、急欲入山、

時爾曹對曰、我曾違逆我上帝耶和華、今遵其命、前往以戰、維時各執器械、備以登山。

時、爾曹對我曰、我獲罪於主、願前往以戰、遵主我之天主所命我者、於是各執器械、輕遽登山、

Then you replied,“ We have sinned against the Lord. We will go up and fight, as the Lord our God commanded us.” So every one of you put on his weapons, thinking it easy to go up into the hill country.

Then you replied,“ We have sinned against the Lord. We will go up and fight. We’ll do just as the Lord our God has commanded us.” So all of you got your swords and put them on. You thought it would be easy to go up into the hill country.

“ Then you answered me,‘ We have sinned against the Lord. We ourselves will go up and fight, just as the Lord our God commanded us.’ And every one of you fastened on his weapons of war and thought it easy to go up into the hill country.

“ Then you confessed,‘ We have sinned against the Lord! We will go into the land and fight for it, as the Lord our God has commanded us.’ So your men strapped on their weapons, thinking it would be easy to attack the hill country.

“ You answered me,‘ We have sinned against the LORD. We will go up and fight just as the LORD our God commanded us.’ Then each of you put on his weapons of war and thought it would be easy to go up into the hill country.

“ Then you replied to me,‘ We have sinned against the Lord; we ourselves will go up and fight, just as the Lord our God commanded us.’ And every man of you strapped on his weapons of war, and you viewed it as easy to go up into the hill country.

“ Then you answered and said to me,‘ We have sinned against the Lord; we will go up and fight, just as the Lord our God commanded us.’ And when everyone of you had girded on his weapons of war, you were ready to go up into the mountain.

Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against Jehovah, we will go up and fight, according to all that Jehovah our God commanded us. And ye girded on every man his weapons of war, and were forward to go up into the hill- country.

“ You answered me,‘ We have sinned against the Lord. We will go up and fight just as the Lord our God commanded us.’ Then each of you put on his weapons of war and thought it would be easy to go up into the hill country.

Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.

Then you responded to me and admitted,“ We have sinned against the LORD. We will now go up and fight as the LORD our God has told us to do.” So you each put on your battle gear and prepared to go up to the hill country.

Then you answered and said to me,“ We have sinned against Yahweh. We will go up and fight, according to all that Yahweh our God commanded us.” Every man of you put on his weapons of war, and presumed to go up into the hill country.

人的愚妄使他所行的敗倒，他的心就向永恆主生氣。

巴蘭對永恆主的使者說：『我有罪了；我不知道是你在路上站着來對付我；現在你若不喜歡我去，我就回去得啦。』

摩西將這些話告訴以色列眾人，人民就極其悲哀。他們清早起來，上山地上頭去、說：『看哪，我們在這裏；我們上永恆主所說到的那地方去吧！我們犯了罪了。』摩西說：『你們為甚麼這樣越犯永恆主所吩咐的呢？這是不能成功的。你們不要上去，免得你們在仇敵面前被擊敗，因為永恆主不在你們中間。因為亞瑪力人和迦南人都在那裏、在你們前面、你們一定會倒斃在刀劍之下的；你們既然轉離、不跟從永恆主，永恆主就不和你們同在。』他們卻鹵莽地上山地上頭去，只是永恆主的約櫃和摩西並沒有離開營中。於是亞瑪力人和迦南人、住在那山地上的、就下來、擊敗他們，粉碎他們、直到何珥瑪。
