只有基尼洗族耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞可以看到，因為他們全心全意地跟從我。』

因為耶和華說過，那批人都要死在曠野。果然，除了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞以外，上次登記的人無一存活。

猶大支派耶孚尼的兒子迦勒，

迦勒讓站在摩西面前的民眾安靜，然後說：「我們立刻去佔領那地方吧！我們必能取勝。」
