So that with good courage we say,“ The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Of whom shall I be afraid?When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, chariots, and a people more numerous than you, you shall not be afraid of them; for Yahweh your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
