視哉、主爾之天主賜爾之地、俱於爾前、當循主爾祖之天主所諭爾之命、前往得之為業、毋驚懼、毋膽怯、

If the LORD is pleased with us, he will bring us into this land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and give it to us.Only don’t rebel against the LORD, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us. Don’t be afraid of them!”

Therefore, we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.

The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— whom should I dread?When evildoers came against me to devour my flesh, my foes and my enemies stumbled and fell.Though an army deploys against me, my heart will not be afraid; though a war breaks out against me, I will still be confident.

“ When you go out to war against your enemies and see horses, chariots, and an army larger than yours, do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you.

“ Be strong and courageous, for you will distribute the land I swore to their ancestors to give them as an inheritance.

Then Caleb quieted the people in the presence of Moses and said,“ Let’s go up now and take possession of the land because we can certainly conquer it!”

When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you.
