聽訟之際、勿行非義、無論貧富、勿狥其私、宜秉大公、以為折中。

毋反其正、毋偏視人、毋受賄賂、蓋賂使明者暗、以直為曲、

哲士有云、聽訟時毋偏袒。

告之曰、爾其謹恪、聽訟非為人、乃代耶和華、蓋聽訟之時、耶和華實鑒之、

隨時鞫民、事鉅則往告、事細則自鞫。

爾如何貌取人、是蹈於惡、為法所譴、不免罪戾、

使其隨時鞫民、事大則告爾、事小則自鞫、共任此職、則爾事輕易舉。

畏威而不敢赴義、必陷乎罪、畏耶和華者必得護衛。

蓋爾之上帝耶和華、乃諸上帝之上帝、諸主之主、巨能可畏之上帝、不偏視人、不取賄賂、

貧者有訟、毋反其正。遠諸偽為、勿殺無辜、毋戮義人、蓋我不釋違義者。

坐於公庭、毋凌貧乏、毋虐煢獨。蓋耶和華必伸其冤、使虐之者反取其戾。

遂遣其徒、同希律黨、就之云、先生、我知爾乃真者、以誠傳上帝道、不偏視人、不以貌取人者也、

爾無故取同儕之質、奪貧寒之褐。不飲食饑渴、強者任其得土、尊者聽其得廬、嫠者使之徒反、孤者去其所恃、

如爾邑中有訟事、為流血、為爭競、為加害、爾所難鞫者、則必詣爾上帝耶和華特簡之室、見祭司利未人、或在位之刑官、請其諮諏、為爾聽訟、彼在耶和華特簡之室、指示其故、爾必遵言以行。

長於作惡、牧伯士師、俱索賄賂、大人所謀不軌、黨同為非、彼所為善者、等諸蒺藜、彼所為義者、同於荊棘、先知所言之災、其日伊邇、庶民潰亂、

如我若此、則必戰慄於眾前、為戚族所藐視、緘口無詞、杜門不出。

父不偏視人、必依其行為而鞫之、爾既籲父、則寄生斯世、當無日不儆惕、

如我不公以涖下、使彼抱屈、上帝鞫我、則我何詞以對。我主我僕、何非父母所生、上帝所造。貧者所欲我施之、嫠者所望我遂之。

維彼孤子、貧乏煢獨、當為之伸冤兮、窮民遭難、爾其援手、毋為惡人所害兮。

聞我者祝嘏、見我者揄揚、蓋貧乏孤獨、籲呼望救、我無不援手。危者見救而祝謝、嫠者見助而欣喜、我以仁義為衣服、以公正為冠冕、我為瞽者之目、跛者之足、我濟困乏、猶父之慈子、疏者我為之理其事、為惡之人、我折其齒、奪其所噬於口、

彼得啟口曰、上帝不以貌取人、我所知也、萬國有畏上帝而行義者、必為其所喜、

耶和華諭撒母耳曰、毋觀其容貌之美、軀幹之高、斯人也非我所簡、我之所見有異於人、人見外貌、我見內心。

乃就耶穌曰、先生、我知爾乃真者、不偏視人、不以貌取人、而以誠傳上帝道者也、納稅該撒宜否、

事苟繁重、汝弗能獨理、恐與斯民、俱就廢弛。

遂問曰、先生、我知爾所言所傳皆正、不以貌取人、乃以誠傳上帝道者也、

毋從俗以行惡、有訟立證、毋狥眾以反正。貧者有訟、亦勿狥私。

爾蹂躪貧乏、橫征麥稅、雖以雕石建廣廈、不得居其中、雖以葡萄栽嘉園、不得飲其酒、我知爾罪戾繁多、愆尤滋大、困逼義人、而受賄賂、在彼公庭、枉法害貧、

何嘗奪人之牛驢、何嘗虐取人、挾制人、受人之賄賂以蔽我明、有一於此、我即償之。我在此於耶和華前、及受膏者前、彼得為證。僉曰、爾未嘗虐取我、挾制我、未嘗奪人物。

煥乎主耶穌基督、其道兄弟崇之、勿以貌取人、如有人金鐶美服、入爾會堂、亦有貧人、敝衣並入、爾顧美服者曰、坐此上位、語貧者曰、且立於旁、或坐我几下、豈非別貧富、而念慮未平乎、凡我良朋聽之哉、上帝選斯世貧者、欲彼信主以為富、可嗣上帝所許愛己者之國、

凡行非義、必受非義之報、蓋上帝不分彼此焉、

遂藉亞哈名作書、鈐以王印、致於拿泊所居、邑中之長老世職、曰、當使民禁食、在民間舉拿泊於高坐、令匪類二人作證、曰、爾詛上帝與王。遂曳之出、擊之以石、而斃其命。邑人與長老世職、遵耶洗別書所言而行、使民禁食、在民間舉拿泊於高坐。其時匪類二人進、而坐於前、以作證、訟拿泊曰、拿泊詛上帝與王。乃解之至邑外、石擊斃命。遣人告耶洗別曰、拿泊石擊而死。

體則肥胖、容有光華、作惡勝於尋常、孤貧被控不為折中。耶和華曰、有民若此、我豈不降罰、以雪我憤、

斯民偃息在床、猶謀不軌、迨至黎明、凡力可以勝、則無不為、其禍必不遠矣。彼貪人田廬、而強據之、人與第宅、及凡所有、俱遭暴虐、故耶和華曰、我必圖維、降罰於斯家、爾身弗能免難、不敢昂首以行、

蓋上帝不偏視人也、

主之待僕、亦當馭以寛、毋恐喝、因知在天爾亦有主、無分彼此、

我曰、雅各之長者、以色列族之士師、宜聽我言、聽訟之理、非爾所當知乎、惟爾惡善好惡、剝人之皮、刳人之肉、惟餘骨骸、爾去我民之皮、而噬其肉、折其骨割之為臠、投之鼎鑊、爾籲耶和華、而耶和華不復垂念、因爾妄作、棄爾如遺、

惟爾束腰、勃然而興、盡述我命、勿畏其威。否則我必使爾驚懼特甚。

我眾終必有死、如水傾地、不能復聚、故上帝不使償命、別設一法、俾亡者得免驅逐。

賓旅與孤、毋反其正、勿以嫠衣為質。
