他说：“耶和华从西奈而来，从西珥向他们显现，从巴兰山发出光辉，从万万圣者中来临，从他右手为百姓传出烈火的律法。

约旦河西，住山地、高原，并对着黎巴嫩山沿大海一带的诸王，就是赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的诸王，听见这事，

并他向约旦河东的两个亚摩利王，就是希实本王西宏和在亚斯他录的巴珊王噩一切所行的事。

我们要带兵器，在耶和华面前过去，进入迦南地，只是约旦河这边、我们所得为业之地仍归我们。”

从基博罗哈他瓦起行，安营在哈洗录。从哈洗录起行，安营在利提玛。

撒母耳死了，以色列众人聚集，为他哀哭，将他葬在拉玛，他自己的坟墓里。大卫起身，下到巴兰的旷野。

在约旦河东要分出三座城，在迦南地也要分出三座城，都作逃城。

他住在巴兰的旷野；他母亲从埃及地给他娶了一个妻子。

摩西就照耶和华的吩咐从巴兰的旷野打发他们去；他们都是以色列人的族长。

百姓从基博罗哈他瓦走到哈洗录，就住在哈洗录。

这两个半支派已经在耶利哥对面、约旦河东、向日出之地受了产业。”

我们不和他们在约旦河那边一带之地同受产业，因为我们的产业是坐落在约旦河东边这里。”

以色列人就按站往前行，离开西奈的旷野，云彩停住在巴兰的旷野。

玛拿西那半支派，摩西早已在巴珊分给他们地业。这半支派，约书亚在约旦河西，在他们弟兄中，分给他们地业。约书亚打发他们回帐棚的时候为他们祝福，

以后百姓从哈洗录起行，在巴兰的旷野安营。

如今耶和华你们神照着他所应许的，使你们弟兄得享平安，现在可以转回你们的帐棚，到耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东所赐你们为业之地。

神从提幔而来；圣者从巴兰山临到。（细拉）他的荣光遮蔽诸天；颂赞充满大地。
