我之上帝、至尊至能、允宜寅畏、許人以恩、必踐其言、凡我列王、諸伯、祭司、先知、長老、庶民、自亞述王迄於今日、所遭患難、爾毋以為未足。

耶路撒冷乎、耶路撒冷乎、爾殺先知、石擊奉使者、我欲集爾赤子、似母鷄集雛翼下、已幾何時、惟爾不欲、

猶太人殺主耶穌、及諸先知、又窘逐我儕、不悅於上帝、而與眾人敵、我欲訓異邦人使得救、彼阻尼之、如是厥罪貫盈、終必罹罰、

耶和華曰、當立道旁、訪其舊途、正直者履之、可得平康、人曰、余不欲正直是履。我置邏卒、使聽角聲、民曰、我不欲聞。

以色列族猶大家、爰及耶路撒冷居民、與厥王公、祭司先知、惟惡是作、攖予忿懥、彼退縮不前、我則誨之諄諄、彼則聽我藐藐。

爾勿效祖所為、古先知告之曰、萬有之主耶和華云、棄惡勿作、彼不聽從、爾之列祖、於今安在、古之先知、豈得永存、昔我使我僕先知傅命、言必降災、斯災已及爾祖、彼遂悛悔、自謂萬有之主耶和華所立之旨、欲降以災、罰我所為、今及我躬矣、

耶和華又曰、爾既作此、我數告爾、爾弗聽、我屢召爾、爾不諾、

自猶大王亞門子、約西亞十三年、迄於今日、歷二十三年、耶和華頒詔於我、我曾告爾、諄諄不已、惟爾不從。耶和華之僕先知、數奉使告爾、惟爾不傾耳以聽。先知曰、凡爾有眾、當悛厥惡、革其非心、則可恆居於耶和華所賜爾祖及爾之地。勿崇事伏拜他上帝、以干耶和華震怒、則不降爾以災、惟爾不聽耶和華命、手作偶像、干我震怒、自罹其災、

我數遣僕先知、訓迪有眾、惟彼不聽我言、與爾無異、故我罰之若此。
