He gave me this explanation:“ Daniel, I’ve come now to give you understanding.

He spoke with me, instructing me as follows:“ Daniel, I have now come to impart understanding to you.

亦聞烏萊河兩岸之間、有人聲呼曰、加百列歟、其使斯人知此異象、

我曰、我主、此維何、與我言之使謂我曰、我將以之示爾、

惟真經所載者、我將示爾、除爾君米迦勒外、無有奮勇、助我禦之者也、

為爾民與爾聖邑、已定以七日為期、以七十相乘、用是遏過犯、除罪戾、滌愆尤、彰永義、證異象及預言、膏至聖者、爾當知覺、自初命復建耶路撒冷、至有受膏之君、必歷七日、相乘以七、又歷七日、乘以六十二、其邑必復建、且有街有濠、斯時必際困難、七日乘以六十二後、受膏者必見絕、空諸所有、且有一君之民將至、毀城及聖所、其終若為洪水所淹、戰鬥至終、荒蕪已定、彼與多人將立堅約、歷至七日、一七之間、使祭祀與祭品俱息、殘賊者藉可憎之翼而來、且有忿怒、傾於行毀滅者、至於所定之末期、

我謂與我言之使曰、我主、此維何、使者曰、此乃天之四風、侍於全地之主前、奉遣而出、

與我言之使謂我曰、爾其呼云、萬軍之耶和華曰、我為耶路撒冷與錫安、熱中特甚、

此後、我見有門啟於天、初聞之聲如號角者、與我言曰、升此、我將以後必成之事示爾、
