天使回答：“我是站在神面前的加百列，奉差遣向你說話，報給你這好消息。

到了獻晚祭的時候，以利亞先知近前來，說：“亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和華，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的僕人，又是奉你的命令行這一切事。

忽然有一位像人的，摸我的嘴唇，我就開口和那站在我面前的交談，說：“我主啊！因著這異象，我非常痛苦，毫無氣力。

天使不都是服役的靈，奉差遣為那些要承受救恩的人效勞嗎？

有一天，大約下午三點鐘，他在異象中，清清楚楚看見神的一位天使來到他那裡，對他說：“哥尼流！”

在他上面有撒拉弗侍立，各有六個翅膀；用兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔。

第一隻羊你要在早晨獻上；第二隻在傍晚的時候獻上，

他和我說話的時候，我沉睡了，臉伏在地；他觸摸我，使我站起來。

你們作他天使的，就是那些大有能力，行他所吩咐，以及聽從他命令的，都要稱頌耶和華。

有一個撒拉弗飛到我面前，手裡拿著燒紅的炭，是用火鉗從祭壇上取來的。他用炭沾我的口，說：“看哪！這炭沾了你的嘴唇，你的罪孽就除掉，你的罪惡就赦免了。”

論到天使，說：“神以他的天使為風，以他的僕役為火燄。”

所有因著以色列神針對被擄歸回的人之不忠、對他們所說的話而戰兢的人，都聚集到我面前。我驚懼地坐著，直到獻晚祭的時候。“獻晚祭的時候，我在禁食中起來，穿著撕裂了的衣服和外袍，雙膝跪下，向耶和華我的神張開雙手，

大約三點鐘，耶穌大聲呼叫：“以利，以利，拉馬撒巴各大尼？”意思是“我的神，我的神，你為甚麼離棄我？”

牠們的臉孔就是這樣。牠們向上展開翅膀，各自用兩個翅膀互相接觸，用兩個翅膀遮蔽身體。

你用風作你的使者，用火燄作你的僕役。

忽然，有主的一位使者出現，牢房裡就光芒四射。天使拍拍彼得的肋旁，喚醒他，說：“快起來！”他手上的鎖鍊就脫落了。

那位像人的再摸我，使我有力量。

四個活物往來奔走，好像閃電。

在下午三點禱告的時辰，彼得和約翰上聖殿去。

忽然有一隻手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌勉強支持著要站起來。

第二天，大約正午，他們走近那座城的時候，彼得上了房頂去禱告。
