今耶和華震怒、欲滅巴比倫、為其殿宇雪忿、故慫慂米太王、以攻爾邑、爾雖礪鏃執盾、邑垣建旆、戍樓鞏固、命戍稽察、設伏防禦、終歸無益、蓋我耶和華昔言降災巴比倫、今已有應。

我又仰觀、有二岡巒、俱以銅鑄、其間四車齊出、

次獸若熊、口露三巨牙、屹立於傍、有命之曰、起、吞噬眾民、

大闢見耶和華之使者、立於空中、拔刃在手、直指耶路撒冷、則率長老、俱衣麻服、俯伏於地。

我復仰觀、見卷軸一舒、有若翻飛、

巴西王古列曰、天上上帝耶和華、以天下列國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷建殿、以奉其名。

與我言之天使、出告我曰、爾當仰觀所出者何物、

我得默示、知患難將至、強者行攘奪、暴者行虐遇、無所禁止、以攔人、米太人往哉、環攻巴比倫、維昔巴比倫俾民哀號、己不令此聲入耳矣。

巴西王古列在位之日、至巴西王大利烏即位之年、敵國之民賄通議士、以敗其成。

觀以色列族循其支派、而建營壘、感於上帝之神、

大利烏在位之時、及巴西王古列御國之際、但以理享其亨通焉。
