我看见兽的七个头中，有一个似乎受了致命伤，那伤却医好了。全地的人都很惊讶，跟从了那只兽。他们都拜那条龙，因为它把自己的权柄给了兽；又拜那只兽，说：“谁能比这只兽，谁能与它交战呢？”龙又赐给那只兽说夸大亵渎话的口，又赐给它权柄可以任意行事四十二个月。那兽就开口向神说亵渎的话，亵渎神的名和他的帐幕，就是那些住在天上的。它又被准许与圣徒作战，并且得胜，也赐给它权柄，可以制伏各支派、各民族、各语言、各邦国。凡住在地上、名字从创世以来没有记在被杀羔羊的生命册上的人都要拜它。凡有耳朵的都听吧！该被掳掠的，必被掳掠；该被刀杀的，必被刀杀。在此，圣徒要有耐心和信心。

他说话抵挡至高者，折磨至高者的众圣者，又改变节期和律法。众圣者要交在他手中一年、两年、又半年。

因为神使诸王同心执行他的旨意，把他们自己的国交给那只兽，直等到神的话都应验了。

他要兴兵，这兵必亵渎圣所，就是堡垒，除掉经常献的祭，设立那施行毁灭的可憎之物。他必用巧言奉承违背圣约的恶人；惟独认识神的子民必刚强行事。民间的智慧人必训诲许多人，然而在一段日子里，他们必因刀剑、火烧、掳掠、抢夺而仆倒。他们仆倒的时候，会得到少许援助，却有许多人用诡诈加入他们。智慧人中有些人仆倒，为要使他们受熬炼，成为洁净、洁白，直到末了；因为还有一段日子才到所定的时期。“王必任意而行，自高自大，超过所有的神明，又用荒谬的话攻击万神之神。他必行事亨通，直到主的愤怒结束，因为所定的事必然实现。

他的判断又真实又公义；因他判断了那大淫妇，她用淫行败坏了世界。神为他的仆人伸冤，向淫妇讨流仆人血的罪。”

因他们曾流过圣徒与先知的血，现在你给他们血喝，这是他们该受的。”

它渐壮大，高及诸天万象，把一些天象和星辰摔落在地，用脚践踏。

我又看见那女人喝醉了圣徒的血和为耶稣作见证的人的血。我看见她，非常诧异。

我听见那在河水之上、穿细麻衣的，向天举起左右手，指着那活到永远的起誓说：“要到一年、两年，又半年，粉碎圣民力量结束的时候，这一切的事就要应验。”

你曾看见的那十个角就是十个王；他们还没有得到国度，但他们要和那只兽同得权柄作王一个时辰。他们同心把自己的能力权柄交给那只兽。
