彼至我立之所、彼來時、我甚懼、面伏於地、彼告我曰、人子、當知此異象、末期必應、末期必應或作乃指末期之事

As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”

Gabriel came close to where I was standing. I was terrified and fell down flat with my face toward the ground. Here is what he said to me.“ Son of man, I want you to understand the vision. It’s about the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me,“ Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground.“ Son of man,” he said,“ you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

So he approached where I was standing; when he came near, I was terrified and fell facedown.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. Then he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

He said,“ Behold, I will make you know what will be in the latter time of the indignation; for it belongs to the appointed time of the end.

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased.”

Some of those who are wise will fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.“ The king will do according to his will. He will exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and will speak marvelous things against the God of gods. He will prosper until the indignation is accomplished; for that which is determined will be done.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying,“ Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,

“ At the time of the end the king of the south will contend with him; and the king of the north will come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, with horsemen, and with many ships. He will enter into the countries, and will overflow and pass through.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.

“ But go your way until the end; for you will rest, and will stand in your inheritance at the end of the days.”

As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of Yahweh’s glory. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.He said to me,“ Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.”

He will make a firm covenant with many for one week. In the middle of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. On the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, wrath will be poured out on the desolate.”

He said to me,“ Write,‘ Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.’” He said to me,“ These are true words of God.”I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me,“ Look! Don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”

Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me,“ My lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows have overtaken me, and I retain no strength.

Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

Abram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying,

Lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.

Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.Peter answered Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; for the men who were with me didn’t see the vision; but a great quaking fell on them, and they fled to hide themselves.So I was left alone, and saw this great vision. No strength remained in me; for my face grew deathly pale, and I retained no strength.

He said to me,“ Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright; for I have been sent to you, now.” When he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.

At the beginning of your petitions the commandment went out, and I have come to tell you; for you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision.

Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face, worshiped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an offering and sweet odors to him.

“ Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them,

When I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. Then behold, there stood before me something like the appearance of a man.
