彼至我立之所、彼來時、我甚懼、面伏於地、彼告我曰、人子、當知此異象、末期必應、末期必應或作乃指末期之事

As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”

Gabriel came close to where I was standing. I was terrified and fell down flat with my face toward the ground. Here is what he said to me.“ Son of man, I want you to understand the vision. It’s about the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me,“ Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground.“ Son of man,” he said,“ you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; and he said to me,“ Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. Then he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face; but he said to me,“ Understand, son of man; for the vision belongs to the time of the end.”

and said,“ I am here to tell you what will happen at the conclusion of the time of wrath, because it refers to the appointed time of the end.

“ But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

Some of those who have insight will fall so that they may be refined, purified, and cleansed until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.“ Then the king will do whatever he wants. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god, and he will say outrageous things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, because what has been decreed will be accomplished.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me and said,“ Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,

“ At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships. He will invade countries and sweep through them like a flood.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, since it will certainly come and not be late.

But as for you, go on your way to the end; you will rest, and then you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance at the end of the days.”

The appearance of the brilliant light all around was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. This was the appearance of the likeness of the LORD’s glory. When I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking.He said to me,“ Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak with you.”

He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”

Then he said to me,“ Write: Blessed are those invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb!” He also said to me,“ These words of God are true.”Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who hold firmly to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Suddenly one with human likeness touched my lips. I opened my mouth and said to the one standing in front of me,“ My lord, because of the vision, anguish overwhelms me and I am powerless.

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me.

Then Abram fell facedown and God spoke with him:

When they looked up they saw no one except Jesus alone.

Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

Only I, Daniel, saw the vision. The men who were with me did not see it, but a great terror fell on them, and they ran and hid.I was left alone, looking at this great vision. No strength was left in me; my face grew deathly pale, and I was powerless.

He said to me,“ Daniel, you are a man treasured by God. Understand the words that I’m saying to you. Stand on your feet, for I have now been sent to you.” After he said this to me, I stood trembling.

At the beginning of your petitions an answer went out, and I have come to give it, for you are treasured by God. So consider the message and understand the vision:

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell facedown, worshiped Daniel, and gave orders to present an offering and incense to him.

“ Son of man, face the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.

While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there stood before me someone who appeared to be a man.
