While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a man.

I was having the vision. And I was trying to understand it. Then I saw someone who looked like a man.

When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.

As I, Daniel, was trying to understand the meaning of this vision, someone who looked like a man stood in front of me.

灯台中间有一位仿佛人子的，身穿垂到脚的长袍，胸间束着金带。

那位样貌像人的再次碰了我一下，使我有力量。

关于这救恩，那些预言你们要得着这恩典的先知，曾经寻求过，详细查考过。他们查考了自己里面基督之灵，当他预言有关基督的苦难和此后的荣耀时，究竟指明的是什么时候、或什么样的情况。

我听见却不领悟，就说：“我主啊，这些事的结局会是怎样呢？”

“这事到此结束。至于我但以理，我的意念使我极其惶恐，脸色也变了，但我却把这事存在心里。”伯沙撒王在位第三年，又有一个异象向我但以理显现，是在先前向我显现的异象之后。

“当你们看见‘那带来毁灭的亵渎者’站在不该站的地方时——读者应当思考——那时，在犹太的人应当逃到山里；

智慧就在这里。有理性的人应当计算这兽的数目，因为这是一个人的数目；其数目是六百六十六。
