In the third year of King Belshazzar’s reign, I, Daniel, had a vision, after the one that had already appeared to me.

It was the third year of King Belshazzar’s rule. After the vision that had already appeared to me, I had another one.

In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.

During the third year of King Belshazzar’s reign, I, Daniel, saw another vision, following the one that had already appeared to me.

巴比倫王伯沙撒元年，但以理在牀上做夢，見了腦中的異象，就記錄這夢，述說其中的大意。

那事至此完畢。至於我－但以理，心中甚是驚惶，臉色也改變了，卻將那事存記在心。

就是他在位第一年，我－但以理從書上得知耶和華的話臨到先知耶利米，論耶路撒冷荒涼的年數，七十年為滿。

他興起的時候，他的國必破裂，向天的四方分開，卻不歸他的後裔，治國的權勢也都不及他；因為他的國必被拔出，歸與他後裔之外的人。

當那時，我－但以理悲傷了三個七日。

這異象惟有我－但以理一人看見，同着我的人沒有看見。他們卻大大戰兢，逃跑隱藏，

至於我－但以理，我的靈在我裏面愁煩，我腦中的異象使我驚惶。

我－但以理見了這異象，願意明白其中的意思。忽有一位形狀像人的站在我面前。
