“ As I looked,“ thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.

“ As I watched,“ thrones were set in place. The Eternal God took his seat. His clothes were as white as snow. The hair on his head was white like wool. His throne was blazing with fire. And flames were all around its wheels.

“ As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire.

I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,

“ I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire.

“ I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;

I beheld till thrones were placed, and one that was ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, and the wheels thereof burning fire.

“ As I kept watching, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat. His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of His head like whitest wool. His throne was flaming fire; its wheels were blazing fire.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment[ was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne[ was like] the fiery flame,[ and] his wheels[ as] burning fire.

“ While I was watching, thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His attire was white like snow; the hair of his head was like lamb’s wool. His throne was ablaze with fire and its wheels were all aflame.

“ I watched until thrones were placed, and one who was ancient of days sat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire.

The hair of his head was white as wool— white as snow— and his eyes like a fiery flame.

and his clothes became dazzling— extremely white as no launderer on earth could whiten them.

until the Ancient of Days arrived and a judgment was given in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, for the time had come, and the holy ones took possession of the kingdom.

Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; one will come from you to be ruler over Israel for me. His origin is from antiquity, from ancient times.

I continued watching in the night visions, and suddenly one like a son of man was coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.

He was transfigured in front of them, and his face shone like the sun; his clothes became as white as the light.

so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of military commanders, the flesh of the mighty, the flesh of horses and of their riders, and the flesh of everyone, both free and slave, small and great.”Then I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and against his army.But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with it the false prophet, who had performed the signs in its presence. He deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image with these signs. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.The rest were killed with the sword that came from the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds ate their fill of their flesh.Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven holding the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand.He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed. After that, he must be released for a short time.Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels,when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

“ In the days of those kings, the God of the heavens will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, and this kingdom will not be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself endure forever.You saw a stone break off from the mountain without a hand touching it, and it crushed the iron, bronze, fired clay, silver, and gold. The great God has told the king what will happen in the future. The dream is certain, and its interpretation reliable.”

The LORD spoke to the man clothed in linen and said,“ Go inside the wheelwork beneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with blazing coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” So he went in as I watched.Now the cherubim were standing to the south of the temple when the man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court.Then the glory of the LORD rose from above the cherub to the threshold of the temple. The temple was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the LORD’s glory.The sound of the cherubim’s wings could be heard as far as the outer court; it was like the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.After the LORD commanded the man clothed in linen, saying,“ Take fire from inside the wheelwork, from among the cherubim,” the man went in and stood beside a wheel.Then the cherub reached out his hand to the fire that was among them. He took some and put it into the hands of the man clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn an oath to him to seat one of his descendants on his throne.

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

I say,“ My God, do not take me in the middle of my life! Your years continue through all generations.Long ago you established the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

The likeness of the living creatures was like the appearance of blazing coals of fire or like torches. Fire was moving back and forth between the living creatures; it was bright, with lightning coming out of it.The creatures were darting back and forth like flashes of lightning.When I looked at the living creatures, there was one wheel on the ground beside each of the four-faced creatures.The appearance of the wheels and their craftsmanship was like the gleam of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. Their appearance and craftsmanship was like a wheel within a wheel.When they moved, they went in any of the four directions, without turning as they moved.Their four rims were tall and awe-inspiring, completely covered with eyes.When the living creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them, and when the creatures rose from the earth, the wheels also rose.Wherever the Spirit wanted to go, the creatures went in the direction the Spirit was moving. The wheels rose alongside them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.When the creatures moved, the wheels moved; when the creatures stopped, the wheels stopped; and when the creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose alongside them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from eternity to eternity, you are God.

Therefore, since he has been exalted to the right hand of God and has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, he has poured out what you both see and hear.

who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see, to him be honor and eternal power. Amen.

and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ— the righteousness from God based on faith.

As you were watching, a stone broke off without a hand touching it, struck the statue on its feet of iron and fired clay, and crushed them.Then the iron, the fired clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were shattered and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors. The wind carried them away, and not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.

Are you not from eternity, LORD my God? My Holy One, you will not die. LORD, you appointed them to execute judgment; my Rock, you destined them to punish us.

He wraps himself in light as if it were a robe, spreading out the sky like a canopy,laying the beams of his palace on the waters above, making the clouds his chariot, walking on the wings of the wind,and making the winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.

Myrrh, aloes, and cassia perfume all your garments; from ivory palaces harps bring you joy.

Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he abolishes all rule and all authority and power.For he must reign until he puts all his enemies under his feet.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in him.
