And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and[ it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

第二只兽像熊，用两只后腿站立，牙齿间叼着三根肋骨，有声音对它说，‘起来，多吞吃肉吧！’

我又看见另一只兽，就是第二只兽；它和熊相似，挺起一边的身躯，口中的牙齿衔着三根肋骨。有人这样对它说：‘起来，吃多量的肉吧！’

“看哪，有另一只兽，就是第二只，仿佛一只熊！它用一侧站立，口中的牙齿之间有三根肋骨；有话对它这样说：‘起来，吞吃大量的肉！’

「看哪，有另一隻獸，就是第二隻，彷彿一隻熊！牠用一側站立，口中的牙齒之間有三根肋骨；有話對牠這樣說：『起來，吞吃大量的肉！』

其次之獸若熊、半身側立、其口齒間、啣三脇骨、有謂之曰、起、吞噬多肉、

次獸若熊、口露三巨牙、屹立於傍、有命之曰、起、吞噬眾民、

又有一獸、即第二獸、其狀若熊、立於旁、口中牙內銜三脇骨、口中牙內銜三脇骨或作有三脇骨在口銜於牙有命之曰、起、吞噬多肉、

“ And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told,‘ Get up and eat your fill of flesh!’

And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and[ as for] gold, they shall not delight in it.[ Their] bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

Go up against the land of Merathaim,[ even] against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.A sound of battle[ is] in the land, and of great destruction.How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this[ is] the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.Behold, I[ am] against thee,[ O thou] most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time[ that] I will visit thee.And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.

Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.

All ye beasts of the field, come to devour,[ yea], all ye beasts in the forest.

I will meet them as a bear[ that is] bereaved[ of her whelps], and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than[ they] all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you,[ even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had[ two] horns: and the[ two] horns[ were] high; but one[ was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last.I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither[ was there any] that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
