宁可遇见被夺去幼崽的母熊，也不要遇见行在愚妄中的愚昧人。

田野中和森林中的百兽啊，你们都来吞噬吧！

现在我就把关乎真理的事告诉你。“看哪，在波斯又会有三个王兴起！之后第四个王会拥有极大的财富，超过所有的王。他藉着自己的财富变得强盛，就挑动全国与希腊国对立。

‘赔珥新’就是你的国已经被分割，赐给了米底亚和波斯。”

我举目观看，看哪，有一只公绵羊站在运河边！它有两只犄角，两只犄角都很高，其中一只高过另一只，那较高的是后来长起来的。我看见那公绵羊向西、向北、向南冲撞，没有野兽能在它面前站立得住，也没有谁能解救它们脱离它的权势；它任意而行，并高抬自己。
