爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、將及雲霄、比儗至尊。今爾下陰府幽冥之所、見爾者必駭然曰、震動天下、使列國畏懼、荒其四境、毀其邑垣、不反俘囚者、非斯人與。

殘賊列邦者、猶獅出林而至、彼出其所、必使爾地荒蕪、城邑傾圮、無人居處。

當告之云、耶和華曰、巨鷹有翼、碩大無朋、毛羽豐健、文彩斑斕、集於利巴嫩、柏香木之高枝、為其所折、

我將使迦勒底人振興、殘忍疾作、遍行天下、強據邦國、其威可畏、聽訟之時、獨斷獨行、彼之驍騎、行疾於豹、趨迅於狼、狼夜出、其暴更甚、乘者遠來、橫行四方、迅速若鷹、吞噬其所得、

耶和華又曰、敵人將至、若鷹展翮、翱翔於摩押、

屍所在、鷙鳥集焉、○

王請聽余、至上上帝、以國威尊榮、賜爾祖尼布甲尼撒、因其威儀、億兆族姓、戰慄於前、生殺昇降、皆出王衷、既驕奢其心、剛愎其志、乃黜王位、去其尊榮、心若豺狼、為人驅逐、不與人居、而與野驢錯處、齧蒭若牛、沾濡於露、待知至上之上帝、操世之權、以國畀人、悉隨其意、爾伯沙撒乃先王之孫、雖知此事、不卑以自牧、惟驕其志、逆天之主、命取厥殿之器、王公后妃、用之飲酒、譽揚金銀銅鐵木石所造之上帝、彼不見不聞、不識不知、至於賜爾呼吸、整爾步履之上帝、爾反不頌美之、

敵將雲集、車若颶風、馬奔迅過於鷹隼、億兆自謂我遇災害、禍將及矣。

自謂此非巴比倫大城、我所建造者乎、我以之為國都、顯我能、彰我榮、言未竟、自天有聲曰、上帝有命、爾將失國、當驅逐爾、不與人偕居、而與獸錯處、嚙蒭若牛、以待七年之屆、俾知至上者、操權於寰區、隨意昇降、我即於斯時、遭此災患、倏被驅逐、不與人居、嚙蒭若牛、身為露所霑濡、首髮長若鷹翮、指甲利若鳥爪、

追予之人、捷於飛鷹、襲予於山巔、設伏於曠野兮。

爾被殺之時、豈得自謂可匹上帝、爾既見殺、則屬凡民、非為上帝明矣。

維彼敵人、沉湎於酒者、廉恥道喪、居心粗浮者、遨遊遠方、貪欲無藝、若陰司暗府、無日充盈焉、彼使邦國、咸歸統轄、斯眾必作歌以譏刺、曰、他人之財、充積爾家、質當之物、盡歸爾身、久而不償、禍必不遠、困爾者勃興、撼爾者亟起、攘奪爾之所有、因爾刧掠邦國、不可勝數、殺人強據、害諸邑民、故其餘民、亦將取爾之所藏、爾貪不義之利、以富其家、營巢甚高、求免災害、禍必不遠、爾謀不軌、殲滅眾民、自取罪戾、貽羞家庭、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率北方之眾、攻斯土之民、及四周鄰國、滅之殆盡、使見之者駭愕、皆作怨聲。不聞懽忭之言、新娶者及新婦之音、旋磨之聲不徹於外、燈火之光不耀於內、我使之然。四方列國必致荒蕪、使人駭愕、惟彼億兆、服事巴比倫王、歷七十年。耶和華又曰、七十年之期既屆、我降罰於巴比倫之君民、治其罪戾、使迦勒底土地荒蕪、歷久若此。昔我使先知耶利米、以列國之事、筆之於書、中有降災迦勒底之言、必有效驗。邦國眾多、列王顯赫、必使迦勒底人為其服役、視其所行、而加報施。以色列族上帝耶和華諭我曰、我必震怒、錫爾以爵、盛以鴆酒、遣爾至列國、使彼咸飲。飲畢若狂、傾欹不定、蓋我必降以鋒刃之災。我即取爵而往、至耶和華所遣我諸國、使彼飲之、至耶路撒冷及猶大諸邑、與厥王公、使彼喪亡、見之者無不駭愕、怨聲咒詛、今日之事為徵。亦至埃及王法老、以及群臣眾庶、與非同族者、及烏士、非利士、亞實基倫、迦薩、以革倫國王亞實突遺民、以東、摩押、亞捫、推羅諸王、西頓諸王、海島諸王、底但、提馬、布斯、與薙髮之四周者、亞喇伯諸王、與異族諸王、同居曠野、心哩諸王、以攔諸王、米太諸王、北方諸王、無間遐邇、爰及天下列邦、厥後示殺王、亦飲斯爵。

人子、當告推羅王云、主耶和華曰、爾中心驕泰、自謂可匹上帝、其邑在海中、若上帝位、爾雖自謂可匹上帝、終屬凡民、非上帝也。

礪其鏃、則甚利、引其弓、則已滿、馬蹄堅於火石、車輪疾於颶風、狂吼若牝獅、咆哮若稚獅、斷傷其所得、曳入於穴、欲求援手、迄無一人、

殘暴者其怒甚烈、譬彼猛獅、出於林藪、邦國以致荒蕪、

耶和華必使遠民、如鷹之飛、來自地極。攻擊爾曹、其方言爾不之識、

世人若蚯蚓、豈得為潔哉。

掃羅及約拿單、生存之日、相愛相悅、雖至死亡、亦弗離逖。彼二人者疾於鷹、猛於獅。

是時我得靈慧、光復舊物、尊榮赫耀、我之議士牧伯、再謁見我、我國復立、威儀郁郁、

耶和華曰、當是時、壯者偃於逵衢、武士俱亡。萬有之主耶和華曰、驕志之人、降災之日伊邇、我必攻爾。驕者將顛躓、無人扶翼、我火其邑、四周焚燬。

俾其恐懼、自知為凡民兮。
