我但以理若體失魂、病數日之後、方起務王之事、我因其異象、驚駭不勝、莫明其意、

留我獨在、我見此大異象、身弱不堪、面容變色、氣力盡廢、

稱伯提沙撒之但以理、一聞我言、驚訝片時、中心惶恐、我尼布甲尼撒王曰、伯提沙撒、勿為夢與夢兆惶恐、伯提沙撒曰、我主、願其夢應於王之仇、願其兆驗驗或作臨於王之敵、

曰、我以災末必有之事示爾、蓋已預定異象末期必應、蓋已預定異象末期必應或作異象必應於末期又作蓋異象指末期之事

彼至我立之所、彼來時、我甚懼、面伏於地、彼告我曰、人子、當知此異象、末期必應、末期必應或作乃指末期之事

曰、但以理往哉、斯言隱秘封緘、以俟末期、

則愕然變色、中心惶恐悚懼、腰弱若骨脫節、兩膝戰慄、彼此相擊、

眾見耶穌、遂甚駭異、趨前問安、

約瑟以此夢告父兄時、父斥之曰、爾所夢者何歟、我與爾母及爾兄弟果將伏地拜爾乎、

惟爾往哉、待爾之終、必將安寢、而末日必起、享為爾所定之福、或作惟爾往哉安居本業直至壽終末日必起享為爾所定之福

斯二王心懷惡意、同席筵宴、偽言和好、然謀不能成、因此事必至所定之期、始可了然、

人子將見賣於人手、爾當以此言藏諸耳、
