玛丽亚却把这一切事存在心里，反复思想。

我但以理为此精疲力竭，病了几天；然后起来办理王的事务。我因这异象而惊恐，无法领悟它。

因此，唯独剩下我一人看到了这极大的异象；我里面一点力气都没有，我的脸色变得如同死灰，我的力气也留存不住，

那时，称为伯提沙撒的但以理一阵惊恐，他的意念使他惶恐。王就开口说：“伯提沙撒啊，不要让这梦和梦的释义使你惶恐！”伯提沙撒回应说：“我主啊，愿这梦归于那些恨恶你的人，愿梦的释义归于你的敌人！

他说：“看哪，我要使你明白在那愤怒的末期将要发生的事，因为这是关于所定的末后时期。

于是加百列来到我所站的地方。他一来，我就惊惶失措，脸伏于地。他对我说：“人子啊，你当领悟，这异象是关于末后的时期！”

他说：“但以理啊，你只管去吧！因为这些话语已经被隐藏、被封住了，直到末后的时期。

王的脸色就变了，他的意念使他惶恐，他的腰骨松脱，双膝彼此相碰。

众人一见耶稣，都大吃一惊，就跑过去欢迎他。

约瑟把梦向父亲和哥哥们讲述了，父亲就斥责他说：“你做的这是什么梦呢？难道我和你母亲、你哥哥们真要来俯伏于地，向你下拜吗？”

至于你，你只管去吧，直到你的结局！你必安息，到了末后的那些日子，你必起来得你的份。”

这两个王，他们的心都倾向作恶，他们同席却彼此说谎，但他们的计谋不会成功，因为结局在所定的时期才会来到。

“你们要把这话存在耳中：人子将要被交在人的手中。”
