“ In the days of those kings, the God of the heavens will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, and this kingdom will not be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself endure forever.

He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.”

All the nations you have made will come and bow down before you, Lord, and will honor your name.

Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Let the faithful celebrate in triumphal glory; let them shout for joy on their beds.Let the exaltation of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,inflicting vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,binding their kings with chains and their dignitaries with iron shackles,carrying out the judgment decreed against them.
