The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.

The ten horns stand for ten kings. They will come from the fourth kingdom. After them another king will appear. He will be different from the earlier ones. He’ll bring three kings under his control.

As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise, and another shall arise after them; he shall be different from the former ones, and shall put down three kings.

我又願認清牠頭上的十個角、和那另長起來的一個角；在這個角前面怎樣有三個角被牠打落；這角怎樣有眼、有口、能說誇大的話；其形狀怎樣強猛、過於牠的同類。

『那王必任意而行，自高自大超過所有的神，又說了荒謬怪誕的話來攻擊萬神之神上帝。他倒會亨通順利，直到上帝的震怒發盡；因為鐵定的事必定作成。

我看見一隻獸從海裏上來，有十個角七個頭；十個角上戴着十個冠冕；七個頭上還有褻瀆的名。

從這四個角之中的一個又長出另一個角來，是小的，向南、向東、向華美之地漸漸成了非常強大。牠漸漸強大、高及天象，將些天象和星宿拋落地上，用腳踐踏。牠逕自擴大勢力，甚至自以為是天象之君，竟把不斷獻與天象之君的燔祭除掉，把天象之君的聖建築拋棄。有軍隊被遣派，以犯罪行為阻撓不斷獻之祭；牠將真理拋棄地上，任意而行，無不順利。

此後我夜間異象中在觀看着，看見第四隻獸可怕可懼，非常強壯；牠有大鐵牙，吞喫嚼碎；剩下的用腳去踹。這獸跟以前所有的獸大不相同；牠有十個角。我正在觀賞這些角，忽見它們之間又長起另一個角來，是小小的；先前的角之中有三個在這小角之前連根都被拔出來；看哪，這角有眼像人的眼，有口說着誇大的話呢。

於是我在靈境中，天使把我帶走到荒野去。我看見有一個婦人騎着朱紅色的獸、滿了褻瀆之名、有七個頭和十個角。

但聖靈明說、在末後的時期、必有人離棄信仰，意向着謬妄的靈、和鬼魔的教條。在說謊話之假裝中、這種人的良知是被熱鐵烙麻木了的。他們禁止嫁娶，禁戒食物，就是上帝所創造、給信徒和認識真理的人用感謝心享受的。

你所看見的十個角就是十個王；他們還沒有得國，但必跟獸同得權柄、做王一個時辰。他們都有同一樣的心意、將自己的能力和權柄給予獸。

不要讓人用任何方法誘惑你們；因為必先有叛教之事，然後那日子才來到，那不法之人才顯露出來，就是那自趨滅亡的人、那敵對者、那高抬自己、超高一切稱為神或受人崇拜者，甚至坐在上帝之殿堂裏、自稱為神的。我還在你們那裏的時候、就屢次把這些事告訴了你們，你們不記得麼？並且那現今抑制着他、使他到適當時機才顯露出來的、是甚麼、你們也知道。那不法之「祕密」是已在運用動力的。不過這必須等那現在還抑制他的從中間被處置了，然後那不法者才顯露出來。主耶穌必用他口中的氣殺掉他，用他御臨之顯現消滅他。那不法者之「來臨」是依撒但「所運用的動力」、用各樣虛謊之異能神迹奇事，用各樣不義之誘惑施在趨於滅亡的人身上的，因為他們不接受愛真理的心而使他們得救。

另有個迹象在天上現出來：有一條大紅龍有七個頭十個角；那七個頭戴着七個冠冕；

你所看見的十個角和那獸必恨這淫婦、使她荒涼赤身，必喫她的肉，用火燒掉了她。因為上帝將念頭放在他們心中，叫他們行他的心意，行一樣的心意，將自己的國給予獸，直到上帝一切的話語都得應驗。你所看見的婦人就是那大城、那有國權管轄地上列王的。』
