The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.

The ten horns stand for ten kings. They will come from the fourth kingdom. After them another king will appear. He will be different from the earlier ones. He’ll bring three kings under his control.

As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise, and another shall arise after them; he shall be different from the former ones, and shall put down three kings.

我也很想知道有關牠頭上的十隻犄角和那另長出的犄角的真義——在這犄角面前有三隻犄角倒下了；這犄角有眼睛，有說大話的口，牠的樣子比牠的同類更大。

「這王任意而行，自高自大，高抬自己超過一切神明，並說荒謬的話來敵對萬神之神；他事事順利，直到憤怒的時期終結，因為那被註定的事必成就。

接著，我看見一隻獸從海裡上來。牠有十隻角和七個頭，十隻角上戴著十個王冠，七個頭上都有褻瀆的名號。

從其中的一隻又長出一隻小犄角，向南、向東、向那榮美之地長得極其強大。它變得強大，高達天軍，把一部分天軍、一部分星辰摔落在地，並踩踏它們。它高抬自己，要高達天軍之首；它還除掉給天軍之首常獻的祭，使他的聖所之地被丟棄。因罪過的緣故，天軍與常獻的祭一同被交出去；這小犄角把真理丟棄在地，它所做的都順利。

「此後在夜間的異象中我繼續觀看，看哪，第四隻獸非常恐怖、十分可怕、極其強壯！牠有大鐵牙，吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踩踏；牠與之前的各獸都不相同，牠有十隻犄角。「我正在注視這些犄角，看哪，有另一隻小犄角在它們中間長出來，先前的那些犄角中有三隻從牠面前被連根拔出！看哪，這犄角上有眼睛，好像人的眼睛，又有說大話的口！

於是我在靈裡被天使帶到曠野。隨後，我看見一個女人騎在一隻深紅色的獸上，這獸有七個頭，十隻角，遍體布滿了褻瀆的名號。

不過聖靈明確地說，在末後的時代有些人會離開這信仰，聽從迷惑人的邪靈和鬼魔的教義。這些教義出於說謊之人的偽善，這些人的良心已經麻木了。他們禁止結婚，要求遠避某些食物，就是神所創造的，好讓信徒和了解真理的人以感謝的心享用。

你所看見的那十隻角，是十個王，他們還沒有得到王權，然而他們要得到權柄，與那獸一同做王一段時間。他們目的一致，把自己的能力和權柄交給那獸。

不要讓任何人用任何方法把你們欺騙了；因為那日子來臨以前，必定先有離道反教之事來到，並且那不法之人，就是那滅亡之子也會被顯露出來。他反對一切被稱為神的，或受人敬拜的，他又高抬自己在這一切之上，甚至坐在神的聖所裡宣稱自己是神。我還在你們那裡的時候，一直告訴你們這些事，你們不記得嗎？你們也知道，現在什麼攔阻了他，好使他在所定的時候被顯露出來。其實這不法的奧祕已經在做工，只是要等到那現在攔阻他的不在其中，然後這不法之人要被顯露出來。主耶穌要以自己口中的氣殺掉他，藉著自己來臨的顯現除去他。這不法之人的到來，是出於撒旦的作為，對那些正在滅亡的人，使用一切能力、虛假的神蹟和奇事，並且使用一切不義的詭計，因為他們不接受那能使他們得救的真理之愛。

隨後，天上出現了另一個徵兆：看哪，一條火紅色的巨龍，有七個頭和十隻角，七個頭上戴著七個王冠。

你所看見的那十隻角和那獸，他們將恨惡那淫婦，並且將使她成為荒蕪、赤身露體，又要吃她的肉，而且用火燒掉她。因為神把意念放在他們心中，要他們實現他的目的，要他們行事目的一致，並把十隻角的王權交給那獸，直到神的話語成就。你所看見的那女人，就是那有王權統管地上眾君王的大城。」
