看啊，耶和華從遠方來，伴著滾滾濃煙，祂的怒氣如烈火，話語充滿憤怒，舌頭好像烈焰。

「耶和華從西奈山來，在西珥山向我們顯現，祂從巴蘭山發出光輝；祂帶著千萬聖者來臨，祂右邊有閃耀的光芒。

我們的上帝來臨，並非悄然無聲，祂前面有烈火燃燒，周圍有暴風怒吼。

焚燒之地——陀斐特早已為亞述王預備好了，那裡又寬又深，堆著許多木柴，耶和華的氣必如同一股硫磺火點燃那些木柴。

在祂面前，群山震動，丘陵消融。在祂面前，大地隆起，世界和世上的一切都戰慄。祂發怒，誰能站立？祂發烈怒，誰能承受？祂的憤怒如火焰噴湧而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。

我看見寶座、四個活物和眾長老的周圍有千千萬萬的天使，又聽見他們高聲呼喊：

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。我又看見死去的人，不論尊卑老少，都站在寶座前面。案卷都展開了，另有一卷，就是生命冊也打開了。死去的人都要憑案卷中有關他們行為的記錄受審判。海洋、死亡和陰間都交出了它們裡面的死人，使他們按著各人的行為受審判。之後，死亡和陰間也被扔進火湖裡，這火湖就是第二次的死。名字沒有記在生命冊上的都要被扔進火湖裡。

米該雅說：「你要聽耶和華的話。我看見耶和華坐在寶座上，眾天軍侍立在祂左右。

看啊，耶和華要在火中降臨，祂的戰車好像旋風。祂要發烈怒，用火焰懲罰。因為耶和華要用火和劍審判世人，殺死許多人。

願天歡喜，願地快樂，願海和其中的一切都歡呼澎湃。願田野和其中的萬物都喜氣洋洋，願林中的樹木都歡然讚美耶和華。因為祂要來審判大地，祂要按公義審判世界，憑祂的信實審判萬民。

密雲和黑暗環繞在祂周圍，公義和公平是祂寶座的根基。烈火做祂的先鋒，燒滅祂周圍的仇敵。

上帝帶著千千萬萬的戰車從西奈山來到祂的聖所。

亞當的第七代子孫以諾曾經針對這些人說預言：「看啊！主率領祂千萬的聖者一同降臨，

後來亙古長存的至高者來為祂的聖民伸冤。聖民擁有國度的時候到了。

然而，審判者將坐下來審判，奪去並永遠廢除他的權柄。

你們要從我的這山谷逃跑，因為山谷必延伸到亞薩。你們必像猶大王烏西雅年間的人躲避大地震一樣逃跑。我的上帝耶和華必帶著所有的聖者降臨。

那時，敬畏耶和華的彼此交談，耶和華必留心傾聽，祂面前的紀念冊上記錄著敬畏祂和尊崇祂名的人。萬軍之耶和華說：「到我所定的日子，他們必成為我寶貴的產業，我要憐憫他們，如同父親憐憫他的孝順兒子。那時，你們將再度看出義人與惡人之間的區別，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之間的不同。

「當人子在祂的榮耀中與眾天使降臨的時候，祂要坐在榮耀的寶座上，

但你們現在來到了錫安山，永活上帝的城邑，天上的耶路撒冷，歡聚著千萬天使的地方。
