那些制定奸恶律例的，和那些记录诡诈判语的，有祸了！

他们就来到王面前，提起王的禁令，说：“你岂不是签署了禁令，无论何人，在三十天内，王啊！除了向你以外，若向任何神或任何人求什么，就必扔在狮子坑中？”王回答说：“确有此事。按照玛代和波斯的律法，这样的禁令是不能废除的。”

正月十三日，王的书记都召了来，照着哈曼的一切吩咐，用各省的文字，各族的方言，奉亚哈随鲁王的名下旨，又用王的戒指盖上印，颁给总督、各省的省长和各族的领袖。

末底改奉亚哈随鲁王的名写了谕旨，又用王的戒指盖上印；文书由驿使骑上御养的、为国事而用的快马，传送到各处去。

以斯帖又在王面前说话，俯伏在王的脚前，含泪恳求王免除亚甲族人哈曼所加的灾害，以及他设计要害犹大人的阴谋。

现在你们可以照着你们的意思，奉王的名为犹大人写谕旨，用王的印戒盖上；因为奉王的名所写，用王的戒指盖上印的谕旨，是没有人可以废除的。”

天地都要过去，但我的话决不会废去。
