Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.

Daniel did a better job than the other two leaders or any of the royal rulers. He was an unusually good and able man. So the king planned to put him in charge of the whole kingdom.

Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.

法老對他的臣僕說：「像他這樣的人，有神的靈在他裡面，我們還能找得到嗎？」於是法老對約瑟說：「既然神把這一切都向你顯明了，就沒有像你這樣有悟性有智慧的人了。你要管理我的家；我所有的子民都要順從你的話；只有在寶座上的我比你大。」法老又對約瑟說：「你看，我已經委派你管理埃及全地。」

這樣我就看到：智慧勝過愚昧，就像光明勝過黑暗。

你看見過做事老練的人嗎？他必站立在君王面前，而不會站立在低微的人面前。

在你開始懇求的時候，就有命令發出，於是我來告訴你，因為你是蒙愛的；你當領悟這話語，要領悟這異象！

約束自己言語的，明白知識；靈裡冷靜的，是聰慧的人。

不要讓慈愛和信實離開你，要把它們繫在你的頸項上，刻在你的心版上；這樣，你就在神和人的眼前蒙恩，得著美好的見識。
