我樂意宣揚至高上帝向我所行的神蹟奇事。他的神蹟何其大！他的奇事何其盛！他的國度存到永遠；他的權柄存到萬代！

弟兄們，我們不要你們不知道，我們從前在亞細亞遭遇苦難，因受到無法忍受的壓力，甚至連活命的指望都沒有了。自己心裏也斷定是必死無疑，這是要使我們不依靠自己，只依靠使死人復活的上帝。他曾救我們脫離那極大的死亡，他要繼續救我們，而且我們指望他將來還要救我們。

叫我們既從仇敵手中被救出來，就可以終身在他面前，無所懼怕地用聖潔和公義事奉他。

上帝藉着困苦救拔困苦人，藉所受的欺壓開通他們的耳朵。

你謀事有大略，行事有大能，注目觀看世人一切的舉動，為要照各人所做的和他做事的結果報應他。你在埃及地顯神蹟奇事，直到今日在以色列和世人中間也是如此，建立了自己的名聲，正如今日一樣。
