我樂意將至高的神向我所行的神蹟奇事宣揚出來。他的神蹟何其大！他的奇事何其盛！他的國是永遠的；他的權柄存到萬代！

弟兄們，我們不要你們不曉得，我們從前在亞細亞遭遇苦難，被壓太重，力不能勝，甚至連活命的指望都絕了；自己心裏也斷定是必死的，叫我們不靠自己，只靠叫死人復活的神。他曾救我們脫離那極大的死亡，現在仍要救我們，並且我們指望他將來還要救我們。

叫我們既從仇敵手中被救出來，就可以終身在他面前，坦然無懼地用聖潔、公義事奉他。

神藉着困苦救拔困苦人，趁他們受欺壓開通他們的耳朵。
