我很高興能把至高神向我所行的神蹟奇事講明出來——他的神蹟多麼偉大，他的奇事多麼有能力！他的國度是永遠的國度，他的權柄世世代代長存！

弟兄們，我們不願意你們不明白我們在亞細亞省所遭受的患難：我們所受的壓力遠遠過於我們的承受能力，甚至連活下去的希望也沒有了。然而我們在自己裡面已經承受了死亡的判決，好讓我們不依靠自己，而依靠那使死人復活的神。他救我們脫離了如此致命的危險，並且將來要救我們——我們盼望他將來還要救我們。

使我們從敵人的手中被救出，在我們所有的日子裡無所懼怕，以聖潔和公義事奉他；

但是主站在我身邊，使我剛強，為要藉著我使傳道得以完成，讓所有外邦人都能聽見；我也從獅子口裡被救了出來。主將會救我脫離一切凶惡之事，並且救我進入他屬天的國度。願榮耀歸於他，直到永永遠遠！阿們。
