Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.”

“ In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation.

The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.Great is the Lord in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations.Let them praise your great and awesome name— he is holy.

and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever.

Artaxerxes, king of kings, To Ezra the priest, teacher of the Law of the God of heaven: Greetings.Now I decree that any of the Israelites in my kingdom, including priests and Levites, who volunteer to go to Jerusalem with you, may go.

Moreover, I hereby decree what you are to do for these elders of the Jews in the construction of this house of God: Their expenses are to be fully paid out of the royal treasury, from the revenues of Trans- Euphrates, so that the work will not stop.Whatever is needed— young bulls, rams, male lambs for burnt offerings to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and olive oil, as requested by the priests in Jerusalem— must be given them daily without fail,so that they may offer sacrifices pleasing to the God of heaven and pray for the well-being of the king and his sons.Furthermore, I decree that if anyone defies this edict, a beam is to be pulled from their house and they are to be impaled on it. And for this crime their house is to be made a pile of rubble.May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem. I Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence.

and,“ In the very place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ there they will be called‘ children of the living God.’”

The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.

for our“ God is a consuming fire.”

for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

the twenty- four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

The four living creatures said,“ Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the Lord.“ These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice,“ Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”

For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived?

David asked the men standing near him,“ What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the Lord.

My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God.
