堅心倚賴你的，你必保守他十分平安，因為他倚靠你。

王說：「看哪，我看見有四個人，並沒有捆綁，在火中行走，也沒有受傷；那第四個的相貌好像神明的兒子。」

他們在打仗的時候得了上帝的幫助，夏甲人和所有跟隨夏甲人的人都交在他們手中；因為他們在陣上呼求上帝，倚賴他，他就應允他們。

那些總督、欽差、省長和王的謀士一同聚集來看這三個人，見火不能傷他們的身體，頭髮沒有燒焦，衣裳也沒有變色，都沒有火燒過的氣味。尼布甲尼撒說：「沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的上帝是應當稱頌的！他差遣使者救護倚靠他的僕人，他們不遵王的命令，甚至捨身，在他們上帝以外不肯事奉敬拜別神。

投靠耶和華，強似倚賴人；投靠耶和華，強似倚賴權貴。

清晨，眾人早起往提哥亞的曠野去。出去的時候，約沙法站着說：「猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要聽我說：信靠耶和華－你們的上帝就必站立得穩；信賴他的先知就必亨通。」

葉特羅因耶和華待以色列的一切恩惠，就是拯救他們脫離埃及人的手，就非常喜樂。

耶和華幫助他們，解救他們；他解救他們脫離惡人，把他們救出來，因為他們投靠他。

王聽見這話，就甚愁煩，一心要救但以理，直到日落的時候，他還在籌劃解救他。

耶穌對他說：「『你若能』，在信的人，凡事都能。」

希蘭聽見所羅門的話，就很高興，說：「今日耶和華是應當稱頌的，因為他賜給大衛一個有智慧的兒子，治理這眾多的百姓。」

推羅王希蘭寫信回答所羅門說：「耶和華因為愛他的百姓，所以立你作他們的王。」又說：「創造天和地的耶和華－以色列的上帝是應當稱頌的！他賜給大衛王一個有智慧的兒子，使他有見識，有聰明，可以為耶和華建造殿宇，又為自己的王國建造宮殿。

你們不要倚靠君王，不要倚靠世人，他一點也不能幫助。他的氣一斷，就歸回塵土，他所打算的，當日就消滅了。以雅各的上帝為幫助、仰望耶和華－他上帝的，這人有福了！耶和華造天、地、海和其中的萬物，他守信實，直到永遠。

耶和華的名是堅固臺，義人奔入就得安穩。

他們藉着信，制伏了敵國，行了公義，得了應許，堵住了獅子的口，

王回到宮裏，終夜禁食，不讓人帶樂器到他面前，他也失眠了。
