坚心倚赖你的，你必保守他十分平安，因为他倚靠你。

王说：“看哪，我看见有四个人，并没有捆绑，在火中行走，也没有受伤；那第四个的相貌好像神明的儿子。”

他们在打仗的时候得了上帝的帮助，夏甲人和所有跟随夏甲人的人都交在他们手中；因为他们在阵上呼求上帝，倚赖他，他就应允他们。

那些总督、钦差、省长和王的谋士一同聚集来看这三个人，见火不能伤他们的身体，头发没有烧焦，衣裳也没有变色，都没有火烧过的气味。尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的上帝是应当称颂的！他差遣使者救护倚靠他的仆人，他们不遵王的命令，甚至舍身，在他们上帝以外不肯事奉敬拜别神。

投靠耶和华，强似倚赖人；投靠耶和华，强似倚赖权贵。

清晨，众人早起往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说：信靠耶和华—你们的上帝就必站立得稳；信赖他的先知就必亨通。”

叶特罗因耶和华待以色列的一切恩惠，就是拯救他们脱离埃及人的手，就非常喜乐。

耶和华帮助他们，解救他们；他解救他们脱离恶人，把他们救出来，因为他们投靠他。

王听见这话，就甚愁烦，一心要救但以理，直到日落的时候，他还在筹划解救他。

耶稣对他说：“‘你若能’，在信的人，凡事都能。”

希兰听见所罗门的话，就很高兴，说：“今日耶和华是应当称颂的，因为他赐给大卫一个有智慧的儿子，治理这众多的百姓。”

推罗王希兰写信回答所罗门说：“耶和华因为爱他的百姓，所以立你作他们的王。”又说：“创造天和地的耶和华—以色列的上帝是应当称颂的！他赐给大卫王一个有智慧的儿子，使他有见识，有聪明，可以为耶和华建造殿宇，又为自己的王国建造宫殿。

你们不要倚靠君王，不要倚靠世人，他一点也不能帮助。他的气一断，就归回尘土，他所打算的，当日就消灭了。以雅各的上帝为帮助、仰望耶和华—他上帝的，这人有福了！耶和华造天、地、海和其中的万物，他守信实，直到永远。

耶和华的名是坚固台，义人奔入就得安稳。

他们藉着信，制伏了敌国，行了公义，得了应许，堵住了狮子的口，

王回到宫里，终夜禁食，不让人带乐器到他面前，他也失眠了。
