那靠着你心意坚定的，你会守护他完全平安，因为他依靠你。

王回应说：“看哪，我看到有四个人，并没有被绑着，在烈火中行走，身上也没有损伤，而那第四个人，他的样貌仿佛神子。”

那些行政官、总长、省长和王的谋士们都聚集过来，看到这三个人——烈火无力伤他们的身体，他们的头发没有烧焦，他们的长袍没有变化，他们身上也没有火烧的气味。尼布甲尼撒就开口说：“沙德拉克、米沙克、亚伯尼哥的神是当受颂赞的！他派遣他的使者拯救了他的仆人们；他们信靠神，违抗王的命令，甚至舍弃己身，除了自己的神以外，不事奉、不膜拜任何其他神明。

投靠耶和华，好过依靠人；投靠耶和华，好过依靠高贵的人。

耶和华帮助他们，搭救他们；他搭救他们脱离恶人，把他们拯救出来，因为他们投靠他。

王听见了这话，就极其烦恼，定意要拯救但以理；直到日落的时候，他还在尽一切努力要解救但以理。

耶稣对他说：“‘如果你能’？——对信的人，一切都能。”

你们不要依靠高贵的人，不要依靠世人，在他们那里没有拯救。他们的气一断，就归回尘土；他们所谋划的在当日就消亡了。以雅各的神为自己的帮助、以耶和华神为自己盼望的，那人是蒙福的！造诸天、大地、海洋和其中一切的那一位，他必持守信实，直到永远。

耶和华的名是坚固的塔楼，义人跑进去就安稳在高处。

他们藉着信，征服了列国，行了公义，获得了那些应许；他们堵住了狮子的口，

然后，王回到宫中，整夜禁食，不让人给他带来任何娱乐享受，他也睡不着觉。
