专心倚靠你的，你必保护他一切平安，因为他倚靠你。

王说：“但我见有四个人，并没有绑着，在火中走来走去，也没有受伤，并且那第四个的样貌好像神子。”

他们得神的帮助对抗敌人，夏甲人和所有与夏甲人联盟的人，都交在他们手中，因为他们在作战的时候向神呼求；神应允了他们，因为他们倚靠他。

那些总督、总监、省长和王的谋臣，都聚拢来看这三个人，见火无力伤他们的身体；他们的头发没有烧焦，衣服没有烧坏，身上也没有火烧的气味。尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的神是应当称颂的，他差遣使者拯救那些倚靠他的仆人；他们违抗王的命令，宁愿舍命，除了自己的神以外，不肯事奉敬拜任何其他的神。

投靠耶和华，胜过倚靠人。投靠耶和华，胜过倚靠王子。

第二天早晨，众人清早起来，出发到提哥亚的旷野去；他们正出去的时候，约沙法站起来，说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你们要听我的话；信靠耶和华你们的神，你们就必坚立；信靠他的先知，你们就必亨通。”

叶忒罗因为耶和华为以色列人所行的美事，就是拯救他们脱离埃及人的手，就非常喜乐。

耶和华帮助他们，搭救他们；他搭救他们脱离恶人，拯救他们，因为他们投靠他。

王听见了这话，就非常愁烦；他定意要搭救但以理，直到日落的时候，他还在设法营救但以理。

耶稣对他说：“‘如果你能’（“如果你能”有些抄本作“你若能信”）—对于信的人，什么都能！”

希兰听见了所罗门的话，就十分欢喜，说：“今天耶和华是应当称颂的，因为他赐给了大卫一个有智慧的儿子治理这么众多的人民。”

推罗王希兰回信给所罗门说：“耶和华因为爱自己的子民，所以立你作他们的王。”希兰又说：“创造天地的耶和华以色列的神，是应当称颂的！因为他赐给大卫王一个有智慧的儿子，有聪明有见识，可以为耶和华建造殿宇，为自己建造王宫。

你们不要倚靠权贵，不要倚靠世人，他们一点都不能救助你们。他们的气一断，就归回尘土；他们所计划的，当天就幻灭了。以雅各的神为自己的帮助，仰望耶和华他的神的，这人就是有福的。耶和华造天、地、海，和其中的万物；他持守信实，直到永远。

耶和华的名是坚固的高台，义人投奔，就得安全。

他们藉着信，就战胜了敌国，伸张了正义，得到了应许，堵住了狮子的口，

王回到宫里，整夜没有吃东西，也不要任何娱乐解闷，并且睡不着觉。
