with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel. The satraps were made accountable to them so that the king might not suffer loss.

He placed three leaders over them. One of the leaders was Daniel. The royal rulers were made accountable to the three leaders. Then the king wouldn’t lose any of his wealth.

The king also chose Daniel and two others as administrators to supervise the high officers and protect the king’s interests.

我聽說你能釋夢、解惑。你若能讀出牆上的字，把意思告訴我，你必身穿紫袍、頸戴金鏈，在我的國中位居第三。」

要認真辦理這事，不可遲延，何必容事情惡化，使王受虧損呢？」

王賜但以理高官及許多貴重的禮物，派他治理巴比倫全省，管理巴比倫所有的智者。王又應允但以理的請求，派沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌負責巴比倫省的事務。但以理仍在朝中供職。

因為我和我本族的人都被賣了，我們將被剷除、殺光、滅盡。如果只是賣我們為奴為婢，我會閉口不語，因為那樣的痛苦不值得來打擾王。」

「因此，天國就像一個王，他要跟奴僕清算債務。

對管家的要求是忠心。

靠愚人傳信，如同砍斷自己的腳，自討苦吃。

「所以，以色列的上帝耶和華宣告說，『我曾經應許讓你們家族永遠做我的祭司。』但現在耶和華宣佈，『這絕不可能了。尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐視我的，必遭藐視。

智慧的右手有長壽，左手有富貴和尊榮。

臨行前，他召集了十個奴僕，發給每人一千個銀幣，吩咐他們，『你們在我出門期間要用這些錢做生意。』「可是他的人民卻憎恨他，他們隨後派一個代表團去請願說，『我們不要這人作我們的王。』「那貴族受封為王回來後，召齊十個奴僕，想知道他們做生意賺了多少。第一個奴僕上前稟告說，『主啊，我用你給我的一千個銀幣賺了一萬個銀幣。』「主人說，『好，你真是個好奴僕！你既然在小事上忠心，就派你管理十座城。』「第二個奴僕上前說，『主啊，我用你給我的一千個銀幣賺了五千個銀幣。』「主人說，『我派你管理五座城。』「另一個奴僕上前說，『主啊，這是你先前給我的一千個銀幣，我一直把它包在手帕裡。因為你很嚴厲，沒有存還要取，沒有種還要收，所以我怕你。』「主人聽了，對那奴僕說，『你這個惡奴僕！我要按你自己的話定你的罪。你既然知道我很嚴厲，沒有存還要取，沒有種還要收，為什麼不把我的銀幣存進錢莊，到我回來時可以連本帶利收回來？』「接著，他吩咐站在旁邊的奴僕，『收回他那一千個銀幣，賞給那個賺了一萬銀幣的。』「他們說，『主啊，那個人已經有一萬銀幣了。』「主人答道，『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要給他更多；凡沒有的，連他僅有的也要奪走。至於那些反對我作王的仇敵，把他們捉回來，在我面前處決。』」

財主便把管家召來，對他說，『聽說你浪費我的財物，到底是怎麼回事？把帳目交代清楚，你不能再當管家了。』
