竟高抬自己，敌对天上的主，使人把他殿中的器皿拿到你面前来，你和你的大臣、妻妾、妃嫔用这些器皿喝酒；你又赞美那些不能看见、不能听见、什么都不能知道，用金、银、铜、铁、木、石所做的神，却没有把荣耀归给那手中有你的气息，和那掌管你一切命途的神。

反而对天上的主高举自己，让人把他殿中的器皿带到你面前来，你和你的大臣们、妻子们、妃嫔们都用这些来喝酒；你称赞那些不能看、不能听、不能知——用金、银、铜、铁、木、石所做的神明，却不尊崇那位掌握你的气息、掌握你一切道路的神。

反而對天上的主高舉自己，讓人把他殿中的器皿帶到你面前來，你和你的大臣們、妻子們、妃嬪們都用這些來喝酒；你稱讚那些不能看、不能聽、不能知——用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石所做的神明，卻不尊崇那位掌握你的氣息、掌握你一切道路的神。

惟自高而抗天上之主、取其室中之器、至於爾前、爾與大臣后妃、用以飲酒、頌美金銀銅鐵木石之神、即無見無聞無知者、至於掌爾氣息、定爾道途之上帝、則不尊榮之、

惟驕其志、逆天之主、命取厥殿之器、王公后妃、用之飲酒、譽揚金銀銅鐵木石所造之上帝、彼不見不聞、不識不知、至於賜爾呼吸、整爾步履之上帝、爾反不頌美之、

Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways.

You have taken your stand against the Lord of heaven. You had your servants bring cups from his temple to you. You and your nobles drank wine from them. So did your wives and concubines. You praised your gods. The statues of those gods are made out of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood or stone. They can’t see or hear or understand anything. But you didn’t honor God. He holds in his hand your very life and everything you do.

but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven. And the vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, but the God in whose hand is your breath, and whose are all your ways, you have not honored.

For you have proudly defied the Lord of heaven and have had these cups from his Temple brought before you. You and your nobles and your wives and concubines have been drinking wine from them while praising gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone— gods that neither see nor hear nor know anything at all. But you have not honored the God who gives you the breath of life and controls your destiny!

Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of the heavens. The vessels from his house were brought to you, and as you and your nobles, wives, and concubines drank wine from them, you praised the gods made of silver and gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or understand. But you have not glorified the God who holds your life-breath in his hand and who controls the whole course of your life.

but you have risen up against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your nobles, your wives, and your concubines have been drinking wine out of them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see, nor hear, nor understand. But the God in whose hand are your life breath and all your ways, you have not glorified.

And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.

You praised the gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone– gods that cannot see or hear or comprehend! But you have not glorified the God who has in his control your very breath and all your ways!

You have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which don’t see, or hear, or know; and you have not glorified the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways.

凡活物的生命和人类的气息都在他手中。

耶和华啊，我晓得人的道路不由自己，行路的人也不能定自己的脚步。

“你辱骂谁，亵渎谁？扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？乃是攻击以色列的圣者。

招集一切弓箭手来攻击巴比伦。要在巴比伦四围安营，不要容一人逃脱，照着他所做的报应他；他怎样待人，也要怎样待他，因为他向耶和华以色列的圣者发了狂傲。

现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王；因为他所做的全都诚实，他所行的也都公平。那行动骄傲的，他能降为卑。

必有万军耶和华降罚的一个日子，要临到骄傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降为卑；

神岂不是察看我的道路，数点我的脚步呢？

人的脚步为耶和华所定；人岂能明白自己的路呢？

他们的偶像是金的，银的，是人手所造的，有口却不能言，有眼却不能看，有耳却不能听，有鼻却不能闻，有手却不能摸，有脚却不能走，有喉咙也不能出声。造他的要和他一样；凡靠他的也要如此。

雕刻的偶像，人将它刻出来，有什么益处呢？铸造的偶像就是虚谎的师傅。制造者倚靠这哑巴偶像有什么益处呢？对木偶说：“醒起！”对哑巴石像说：“起来！”那人有祸了！这个还能教训人吗？看哪，是包裹金银的，其中毫无气息。

你打败了以东人就心高气傲，你以此为荣耀，在家里安居就罢了，为何要惹祸，使自己和犹大国一同败亡呢？”

并且被造的没有一样在他面前不显然的；原来万物在那与我们有关系的主眼前，都是赤露敞开的。

将列国的神像都扔在火里；因为他本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木头、石头的，所以灭绝他。

因为，他们虽然知道神，却不当作神荣耀他，也不感谢他。他们的思念变为虚妄，无知的心就昏暗了。自称为聪明，反成了愚拙，将不能朽坏之神的荣耀变为偶像，仿佛必朽坏的人和飞禽、走兽、昆虫的样式。

我行路，我躺卧，你都细察；你也深知我一切所行的。

又赐给它说夸大亵渎话的口，又有权柄赐给它，可以任意而行四十二个月。兽就开口向神说亵渎的话，亵渎神的名并他的帐幕，以及那些住在天上的。

也不用人手服侍，好像缺少什么；自己倒将生命、气息、万物，赐给万人。

耶和华说：“现在我要起来；我要兴起；我要勃然而兴。

耶和华神用地上的尘土造人，将生气吹在他鼻孔里，他就成了有灵的活人，名叫亚当。

非利士人的首领聚集，要给他们的神大衮献大祭，并且欢乐，因为他们说：“我们的神将我们的仇敌参孙交在我们手中了。”

他若专心为己，将灵和气收归自己，凡有血气的就必一同死亡；世人必仍归尘土。

初入教的不可作监督，恐怕他自高自大，就落在魔鬼所受的刑罚里。

他为亚伯兰祝福，说：“愿天地的主、至高的神赐福与亚伯兰！

外邦的偶像是金的，银的，是人手所造的；有口却不能言，有眼却不能看，有耳却不能听，口中也没有气息。

迦勒底人自高自大，心不正直；惟义人因信得生。

天，是耶和华的天；地，他却给了世人。

那从囊中抓金子，用天平平银子的人，雇银匠制造神像，他们又俯伏，又叩拜。他们将神像抬起，扛在肩上，安置在定处，它就站立，不离本位；人呼求它，它不能答应，也不能救人脱离患难。

他的气一断，就归回尘土；他所打算的，当日就消灭了。

创造诸天，铺张穹苍，将地和地所出的一并铺开，赐气息给地上的众人，又赐灵性给行在其上之人的神耶和华，他如此说：

我们生活、动作、存留，都在乎他。就如你们作诗的，有人说：‘我们也是他所生的。’我们既是神所生的，就不当以为神的神性像人用手艺、心思所雕刻的金、银、石。

伯沙撒欢饮之间，吩咐人将他父尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷殿中所掠的金银器皿拿来，王与大臣、皇后、妃嫔好用这器皿饮酒。于是他们把耶路撒冷神殿库房中所掠的金器皿拿来，王和大臣、皇后、妃嫔就用这器皿饮酒。他们饮酒，赞美金、银、铜、铁、木、石所造的神。

非利士人将神的约柜从以便以谢抬到亚实突。非利士人将神的约柜抬进大衮庙，放在大衮的旁边。次日清早，亚实突人起来，见大衮仆倒在耶和华的约柜前，脸伏于地，就把大衮仍立在原处。又次日清早起来，见大衮仆倒在耶和华的约柜前，脸伏于地，并且大衮的头和两手都在门槛上折断，只剩下大衮的残体。因此，大衮的祭司和一切进亚实突、大衮庙的人都不踏大衮庙的门槛，直到今日。耶和华的手重重加在亚实突人身上，败坏他们，使他们生痔疮。亚实突和亚实突的四境都是如此。亚实突人见这光景，就说：“以色列神的约柜不可留在我们这里，因为他的手重重加在我们和我们神大衮的身上”；就打发人去请非利士的众首领来聚集，问他们说：“我们向以色列神的约柜应当怎样行呢？”他们回答说：“可以将以色列神的约柜运到迦特去。”于是将以色列神的约柜运到那里去。运到之后，耶和华的手攻击那城，使那城的人大大惊慌，无论大小都生痔疮。

“人子啊，你对推罗君王说，主耶和华如此说：因你心里高傲，说：‘我是神；我在海中坐神之位。’你虽然居心自比神，也不过是人，并不是神！

论到吃祭偶像之物，我们知道偶像在世上算不得什么，也知道神只有一位，再没有别的神。

你因美丽心中高傲，又因荣光败坏智慧，我已将你摔倒在地，使你倒在君王面前，好叫他们目睹眼见。

所以主耶和华如此说：“因它高大，树尖插入云中，心骄气傲，

你靠自己的大智慧和贸易增添资财，又因资财心里高傲。

你掩面，它们便惊惶；你收回它们的气，它们就死亡，归于尘土。
