All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?”

He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

不知我之上帝、在彼穹蒼、任意作為兮。

其視列國之民、若滴水滲於器外、若微塵留于衡上、其移海島、若徙草芥。民欲獻祭、即以利巴嫩林為柴、以百獸為燔、亦不足數。萬國在上帝前、曠然無物、悉屬虛浮、

我知爾無所不能、凡所欲為、莫之敢止。

上天下地、滄海深淵、耶和華任意作為兮、

溯厥原始、我已先在、我之所為、無能扞格、無能奪之於我手。

惟隨意行萬事者、預定我、因基督、得嗣業、

以成爾權、爾旨預定之事、

奧哉、上帝何智慧之大乎、其法不可測、其蹤不可追、孰知主心、得與共議、孰先施主、而得其報、萬物本之、倚之、歸之、宜尊榮不已、

爾必語我云、何其尚責人哉、孰逆其旨乎、我則曰、爾何人、敢詰上帝耶、受造之物、豈能對造者云、何造我若此乎、

既而曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此道、於智賢則隱之、於赤子則顯之、誠哉、父之善意、固如是也、

出於上帝、必不能毀、毋或逆上帝、

誰知主心能教之乎、吾儕乃得基督之心也、

人若陶器、居於土壤、如與造化主爭、禍必及之。譬諸塗泥、豈能謂陶人曰、奚造我若此、受造之物、豈能謂造之者、毫無技能。人詰父母曰、爾生予、何為若此、則其禍必不遠矣。肇造以色列邦之聖主、耶和華曰、予肇造斯民、莫非赤子、我所為、爾能詰我乎。

如定其意旨、不使人通呼吸、則億兆死亡、眾生歸墓。

我之中心、夜則慕爾、朝則求爾、爾降災於世、兆民嚮義、

耶和華兮、天下當寅畏之、億兆當敬凜之兮、主曰、宜有物、則有物、宜奠定、則奠定兮、異邦人設謀、耶和華敗之、使計不成兮。耶和華之旨永在、其意不易兮。

其取之孰能禦之、其為之孰能問之。其怒未息、強者慴之。

萬有之主耶和華矢之曰、我意已定、我命必成、亞述軍至我地、陟我岡、我必覆亡之、蹂躪之、脫民於苛役、去民之重軛、此我所命於天下、所行於列國中。我萬有之主耶和華命之、誰得廢之、行之、孰能禦之。

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。召彼鷙鳥、至自東土、我所簡者、來自遠方、我言已出、必踐之、我意已定、必成之、

我豈可激主怒乎、我豈勝於主乎、

撒母耳悉以告、毫無隱諱。以利曰、事由耶和華、願其任意以行。

厥命不貳、誰能易之、彼從心所欲為、

我全能之上帝也、爾昔欲與我辨、今何詞以對。

上帝具至智、有大能、違之者烏能得福。

耶和華有旨必行、非詭謀所能撓。

主所福、誰能禍之、主所禍、誰能福之、其待人或一國、或匹夫、無二理也。

是上帝賜異邦人、無異於賜我信主耶穌基督者、則我何人斯、能阻上帝耶、

主坐地球、視世人若蟿蟲、主布穹蒼、若張帷幕、牧伯士師、藐乎其小、譬諸草萊、甫種甫植、根柢不深、惟主一吹、必復枯槁、被風飄颺、猶之秕糠。

爾有巨能若我、爾可行雷若我。試以威嚴為外飾、試以尊榮為衣服、爾施震怒、使矜高者卑微、驕肆者喪敗、作惡者蹂躪。

居彼聖所、遍覽億兆兮、

況乎上帝、貧富尊卑、視同一體、皆其所造者乎。俄頃之間、民人死亡、中夜震動、逝世者眾、有能之人、亦被斥逐、此非假手於人也。上帝鑒察寰宇、知人所為。行惡之人、遁於幽暗陰翳、不能自匿。上帝鞫人、毋庸參聽。不察而明、有權能者、降以重譴、使人代其職。

天下億兆、貧富尊卑、宜聽我言兮、

爾言實悖乎理、我不能不辨、夫上帝卓越於人、任意以行、爾不順受曷故。

曰、子為誰、主曰、吾乃爾所窘逐之耶穌也、爾以足觸莿、難矣、

使天地幽冥之人、聞耶穌名、無膝不屈、無口不稱耶穌基督為主、榮父上帝、
